Reranking the top 4 for the playoffs

I'm not saying it can't happen, I'm saying it shouldn't.
If we go to 8, I'm sure 3-8 will win it plenty.
I don't like a tournament for football after we already played 3 months of it.

Division I college football is the only sport that DOESN'T have a tournament after playing for 3 months. Why should it be any different?

128 team playoffs. The 2 teams that don't make it can play in the Rose Bowl.

2^7 = 128. 1/2 season could be playoffs.

I would still prefer the next step be 8 teams with 8 conference champs. Make conferences have 16 teams.

Know way you can put Clemson over Bama in top 4. Clemson has good chance to win but I think its still probably Bama. Bama roughs up skinny Clemson QB and its over. Do that to Bama and they just reload with Jalen.
