"Richt left Kirby with nothing"

They start two 4 stars, two 3 stars, and a 23 year old graduate transfer on OL. I wish we had a bare cupboard at OL.

Now that I've gotten to hear all of the excuses from the Dwags it all makes sense.

Their 2013 recruiting class was awful, and was rated highly only because of the large number of recruits they signed. Apparently there are only 9 left from that 20+ class. And they are bad, real bad.

No upper classman leadership on this team, blah, blah, blah.

Laughable. Sad. CPJ can't recruit. Apparently we have no use for a great QB.
CPJ's system is miraculous. Zero passing game that makes any sense. Zero pass defense that makes any sense. But no problem as long as we get 6 wins, right nerds?

16 four star recruits.

Holy hell. We only had 14 recruits that year.

I'm happy about the situation and understand Richt being canned but why in the hell wouldn't you go get an established coach when you are a top 10 program? Instead they got an assistant who has had the easy life with Bama players when they could have had probably just about anybody but Saban. Les Miles would have been a good choice :)

I have a hard time believing those people are serious. As many problems as we are having right now, I'm pretty confident that our current staff would win a NC within 3 years if given that team.

You understand him being canned, guess what his winning percentage is the highest of any UGAG coach in history

From that thread:
I also thought the people who criticized Richt for not winning more SECC, or a NC, didn't understand the challenges of coaching and recruiting at UGA, with tough admissions criteria, disciplinary policies, and intolerance of cheating to get recruits.

"tough admissions criteria"
:rotfl:
