Nope. It was 100% correct under the rules. You might not like the rules. A lot of folks don't. Especially boomers. But he needed to do something other than fall on the QB with his full body weight.

I hate Kelly and will root against LSU as long as he's there. But that was the correct call.

Yes, I do.

Ty Jordan, was an electric running back for Utah in 2020, a Freshman All-American, and Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year. I thnk he was the most exciting Utah player in years. But he accidentally shot himself on Christmas night 2020, and as a result he died. His number, 22, was then set aside as a special number at Utah, and the following year it was given to Aaron Lowe, who was a high school teammate and friend of Jordan's from their hometown in Texas.

Unbelievably, Lowe was shot and murdered in September 2021.

There have been a lot of special events and commemorations of these kids not only at Utah, but by other teams throughout the Pac-12, over the past 13 months. It's been a big deal out west . . . but folks back east don't see a lot of PAC-12 football. I cried the night the two young men's mothers were flown in for a special ceremony to permanently designate the entrances to Section 22 in the stadium with signs in their sons' names. It was touching to see how much this meant to these women who had lost their sons at such a young age.

Anyway, the helmets they're wearing tonight commemorate these two beloved Utes with painted images of both young men.
 
I want to switch over to the dumb ööööer bowl but I have the feeling there may be weirdness left in this Clemson-Florida State game
