Most of the whining in this thread is pro-CGC though, we've come a long way.
'nobody else will come here'
'those recruiting classes don't count'
'nobody wants CPJ's roster' - (even though it's not his roster anymore)
'we refuse to run any sort of offense that has the word option in it'

This is a whining post, you it proves you wrong.

Simple question:

When CGC was hired, why didn't TStan tell him it is your program and you are free to release the class of 19 commits and bring in your own Players like every other P5 School does, but we are only gonna give you 5 years?

Tell us why TStan didn't do that?

If I was CGC I would have demanded the right release those guys and bring in real FB Players, and been happy with 5 yrs on my contract

So CPJ recruited TE's cool. I'm old enough to remember all the excitement with Griffin.

Transition classes are a mixed bag. I'm not sure it's fair to criticize that class too much.

Simple answer: 'cause TStan is a loser.

2019 does not count as a Collins recruiting class. Isn’t that what we were talking about?

I count it as half CGC's. Unless CPJ recruited Griffin and TE's I guess. :dunno: Weren't you saying that only 2021 and 2022 count, just those 2 classes.

Agreed. So I count it as half a class. Some of the high school recruits were clearly CGC's, and all the portal guys were CGC's.

Recruiting periods are 12 months long. Collins was here for one month before signing day. I’ll make it 1/12 of a recruiting class, but that’s the best I can do.

I agree. I don’t care what we run on either side of the ball. Just have something that works.
Given the recruiting limits we operate with, an innovative offense make sense. In today's recruiting environment that means a run and shoot passing attack.
