Heard MJ looked really not great and iced up his shoulder. Seems injury prone.
Heard TaQuon looked really good.

I had my eyes glued to the QB's, so I can't really comment on anything the D did. IMHO TaQuan and Jay Jones looked best. Lucas Johnson and MJ did not have great days. Lucas had some good runs, but neither of them were distributing the ball well. I think TaQuan led two TD drives, Jay and Lucas led 1 each, and MJ none. (#5 & #6 guys also played for a couple of series.)
My overall takeaways... The backup is always better than the starter. The guy who flashes speed is always better than the solid decision maker. And we're gonna be fine whoever's taking snaps for us.
Some nice "throw the damn ball yells by CPJ.

Jordan looked good against the VT #1s...Just from an athleticism point he looks less capable. He's a power guy and we've all gotten addicted to speed with JT.

First drive #1 offense has been pretty bottled up by the defense.

I agree with a lot of this. Quan and Jay Jones separated themselves from MJ and Lucas Johnson by some margin. Ta'quan threw one check down to JJ Green in the flat *after going through his progressions*. I found that impressive. Don't remember the last time I saw our QB do that (Godsey?).I had my eyes glued to the QB's, so I can't really comment on anything the D did. IMHO TaQuan and Jay Jones looked best.
