Square Peg Round Hole

I don’t care for the oc, his play calling, or personnel management, but Pitt has a solid defense.

More outside runs and swing passes would be nice.
iiwii

Also, we have got to lead the nation in redzone turnovers over the last decade.
No one can tell whether the play calls are good or bad because none of the plays get out of the back field.

I mean we missed a field goal and fumbled on the 1 yd line and lost by 10.

Could’ve easily went to overtime with a top coastal team WITH THIS ROSTER... CGC is over-achieving at this point in the season. We are consistently improving

Another loss followed by more ööööting on players that beat a more talented Miami team.

A truly shocking post from this dbag.

Agree that we played hard and I'm very happy with recruiting, but your optimism toward our playcalling is unfounded. We caught just about every break possible today and were totally incapable of capitalizing. We have one of the worst offenses in all of FBS. Not P5, FBS. We've taken an offense deficient in talent and made them significantly worse.

We might have the worst offensive line in FBS.

We were within 10 because of a heroic effort from our defense. Props to CGC and our defensive coaches for that. We're a couple of pass rushers away from being a really good defense.

But offensively that was just awful. Please stop taking moral victories because we managed a whopping 10 points against the mighty Pitt Panthers. Remember the last time Pitt turned it over a bunch of times against us? I do. We scored 28 points in the FIRST FIVE MINUTES and the game was over. We had plenty of chances to take control of that game today and we couldn't. Not just compete. ööööing take control and win it. But we couldn't even make first downs when we needed to.

We got 3 turnovers and blocked a punt and still lost by double digits. Our defense hung in well, but our offense was embarrassingly impotent.

Nobody's saying we're loaded with talent, but we're not doing a damn thing to make up for any deficit. And just to be clear, this is Pitt you're justifying us scoring only 10 points against. Not Clemson.

Pitt is #12 in defensive SP+, only a point behind Clemson at #5. I.e. against some mythical average team, they would give up one more point than Clemson.

And just to be clear, I think our defense did a fantastic job tonight. They were actually fun to watch, which is a nice departure from the last 10 years.

But the offense was just bad. The players played hard, but the offensive game plan was all-around poor. IIWII.

The plays were open damn near 100% of the time. It is a lack of a credible qb, not coaching.

Our OL did an admirable job against the top pass rushing defense.

Nobody is taking a moral victory here. The people differing from you understand we just aren’t where we need to be. Quit crying.

Yeah remember when we had 2 NFL WR and a o-line and JT I do too

HOW IS THAT RELEVANT TO THIS O

we’re not running TO anymore get over it

Could say the same by replacing players with coaches.

When put into position to make plays against talented players last week, they were good enough.

What are we to draw from today?

But ya, you do you and take a dump on them. I’m sure it feels easier to fall back on the hope of the future.

The poster I was responding to has done it consistently all season, including in the post I responded to.

I'm not butthurt that we lost. I saw that coming. I have no doubt that we'll get better over the next couple years. I'm just not confident that Patenaude, or whoever is responsible for our offensive game plan, is the one to do it. If our defense had played even an average game, we lose by 30 tonight.

This is the same tired bullshit after every loss. Everyone but the Johnson defenders knows that his recruiting sucked but was somewhat masked by the scheme. Everyone also knows that we have to recruit our way out of the hole we are in. Nick Saban would suck with this roster.

No öööö, Sherlock.

I AM GLAD PAUL JOHNSON ISNT COACHING AT GT ANYMORE.

Get that through your thick ööööing skull.

Now, accept the fact CGC and this staff doesn’t öööö gold colored juice and can be criticized for ööööty performances.

Continue your personal little tantrum with my posts when I say the same thing 10 other posters say and you don’t seem to give a sht
