Suddes gone....

College football is over. Especially if you’re not the top 8 teams in the SEC and part of a handful of other teams.

But I suspect people are gonna spend a lot of money and days of their lives before they’re able to accept their reality.

This has been true for years. NIL has only accelerated it.
College football hasn’t existed in decades. I find it funny that just NOW people are waking up. I’m still going to enjoy watching these pompous dirty lying programs play each other on Saturdays in the fall because thats what I enjoy doing. No different than when I watched the mental 3rd graders Switzer had at Oklahoma or that the Bear had at Bama and Dye at Auburn. None of it has ever been on the level. It was just who the press and NCAA wanted to cover for. Penn State got protection for 40 years until they didn’t. ND has been protected from the jump and they cheated worse than any SEC program. Now that the SEC has refined its below board mechanics, teams like ND and Michigan just can’t get the players to the frozen tundra. I was at ND last week and that weather sucks.

I forgot to mention that one of the biggest reasons I go to games is to see old friends each weekend. Maybe a lot of you live in town and still are able to hand out with buddies from GT, but I’ve been all over the globe and most of my group of friends likewise. We fly/drive in, tailgate, eat and drink a lot, catch up on each other’s lives, watch the game, hang around after and go to dinner, etc. Eat breakfast together Sunday morning and head home.

Yeah, we’re still diehard GT fans and hate watching our program destroyed by an incompetent imbecile but he can’t öööö up our tailgate no matter how hard he tries. We’re gonna outlast this bastard by many years. He’ll be remembered as the guy that replaced Bill Lewis as the most dreadful coach ever to have roamed The Flats.

under this scenario i could see why you would have the desire to continue to buy tickets. absolutely. for me ive never gone to the games to tailgate or socialize with anyone other than who i bring. im just there to watch the game then go home. im probably a very small minority on that.

took my girls to basketball game (clemson) last weekend. they enjoyed that experience so much
more than football. and they've both been going to football since they were 2 or 3. ... hoops is 1. half
the time. 2. indoors. 3. according to them easier to follow. we might be attending more hoops less football next yr.

I assume the three ADs in question are Braine, Bobinski, and TStan, not DRad.

JRjr
DRad tended to attack some thing vigorously and others not enough. He was really all about the money (not for him, but for Tech overall), and his priorities really pissed off some, perhaps many, fans. But overall, I think he was good for Tech. I have a good Clemson friend who noted and didn't like similar DRad approaches at Clemson, but, as here at Tech, overall he was good. The first 3 you named were all TERRIBLE, although I don't think TStan has proved to be the worst of the 3.

Screw the social media. We need our spying guys to get to work. We could find out recruiting strategies and game plans.

He responded to emails and took suggestions to heart, even tweaking aspects of the plan based on my feedback. Too bad the subsequent guys didn't follow through.
