You really shouldn't start rumors like this about the school you claim to be a fan of. We have enough problems without nonsense like this getting traction.
 
Got a call from last week from the AA ticket office re: football season tickets. The person said there has been some "turn over" in the dept. and they were replacing the person I had been dealing with. I asked them to continue calling with ticket updates and that I had not made a decision on re-upping. So the turmoil with coaching defections have filtered down to ticket sales! I gotta say, Tstan is in a terrible situation, one that I have not seen in over 40 years of being a Tech supporter. I have no clue as to how the football scene will look after the 2022 season is done!!

I certainly don’t envy anyone right now that has a paycheck reliant on their ability to sell GT tickets

What exactly did you expect Collins to do? He doesn’t control the money at Tech, and that’s what this boils down to.
 
GTAA Ticket rep is one of those jobs that I will never find myself in a position to land in, but that I would absolutely kill for. I would be mainlining the bizarre force in this universe which creates you people, and getting paid to do it. Should I email them while we still have an AD willing to hire literally anyone off the street?

I would expect Collins to ask tStan to try to give him a raise and maybe a better title to keep him around not unlike what he did when South Carolina made a run at Key. I have to explain this?

How do you know he didn’t already have that conversation? Also, I don’t Collins had any pull or leverage right now. He’s still trying to save his own job right now. But you’re just going to automatically assume that Collins turned his back on his friend.

I think he did that, but Mack is also a mentor to Suddes and wanted him back in 2019. UNC appears to be offering a better path for Suddes to get where he wants, long term career-wise.

Last time the program had a down turn, I was able to upgrade seats. Hope this time I can have another opportunity to upgrade. There’s not many of us that are gonna persevere thru this mess Stansbury created.

I’ll give you this advice. We don’t play the mutt this year so demand is going to plummet. I know it’s throwing money away, but look at it like opportunity. You move up now when others are headed to the exits, when we oust the losers here we’ll rebound & you’ll be glad you got better seats.

I concur. I didn't want a like to be construed as me being pleased about it.
 
Upon further reflection, I am starting to wonder if the loss of Suddes might have an impact on our football recruiting similar to the effect of the loss of Pastner's "right hand man" had on our basketball recruiting.

Crap. How the hell did we end up here?
