Taquon played like a warrior tonight

We had a numbers advantage so frequently last night on the outside it was like Lville was playing a man short. TQM played beautifully drawing the defender and pitching or being decisive to turn upfield.

Did Marshall get hurt at the end of the game? After the play where he was stopped just short of the goal line, he came to the sideline, spiked his helmet, and went into the injury tent for a minute. We was out quickly and in the sideline huddle, but Oliver finished the drive and the game.

Curious if anybody saw what happened to him.

JRjr

After the game, CPJ said TQM was OK and could have come back in if they needed him.

Yeah TaQuon's got some special talent running the ball and the offense, but seeing Oliver cut up field makes us realize just how many yards he's leaving on the field. If we could somehow take the best of both of their running styles, it could be downright frightening to see.
We have got to find a way to get Tobias on the field, whether it is QB or AB. The kid is electric.

Taquon looked a step faster than he has the past few games. Think the toe is finally feeling better.

He'll be the starter next year. No reason to lose the growth at qb for next year so that he can try to learn and play a different spot this year.

Plus we're plenty deep at ab, so there's not a lot of gain.

Wasn’t he behind Lucas Johnson on the depth chart?

Not necessarily. We heard good things about both of them, and heard that Graham was the most athletic QB Johnson had ever coached. I think the future is pretty bright at that position, honestly.

Accurate.

Yesterday was encouraging as hell. I've seen us blow bad teams out before while running the offense poorly, but that's not what happened yesterday -- we executed beautifully.

But the fact remains that Louisville does seem to suck, so I'll wait until after the Duke game to hop back on the hype train.
No cost to hop on the hype train, or to hop off.

Come on in, the water's fine.

I prefer the best passer win the job in 2019 as long as he can run CPJ's offense. You want a complete package and not just the best runner.

If LJ is 6ft 3 209 and very athletic I think he could be the one to look for. Having a guy who can run inside strong and outside would do so much more for us. But I've not seen him play so this is all theory.

What does AB look like next year? Cottrell, Jarrett?

You remember the orange bowl?

Yes, this was more dominating. We were winning by 1 point at halftime in the OB. We didn’t score everytime we touched the ball in the OB.

Kansas 2011 is the only one that could be in the conversation if we’re talking about P5 opponents but again that was a bunch of long runs and less about sustained death by first down like this was

I'm with DanT - the Orange Bowl gets my vote, due to the quality of the defense we ass-raped in that game plus the stage itself of an NY6 bowl.

Anybody notice Cottrell running this season? Dude runs mean. Like he won't go out of bounds until he gets to at least hit somebody first.
He might be the fastest guy on the team.. I'd love to see him get the ball more
