If you only spend your time there seeking to find something negative to say about the board - then you'll never read what fans are saying about the change and how happy they are Chan is gone!

Chan was not liked by most there and rightfully so, but Coach Johnson is getting a fair shake and rightfully so - fans believe right now that it was a good hire. Only time will let us really know.

And, the good thing about that board, if the crap hits the fan - those fans have the ability to speak out - it's called reality!:wow:

I have visited once and the only "debate" I read was debate by proxy. That is people were reporting what they posted on this board (trying to make themselves seem internet tough) to suck up to the moderator. There were reports of "challenges" to those who were banned to come back and "debate." One challenger in particular disappointed me because he had a completely different personality there than here. (Hint: he was banned from the Hive.)

The missing element is that most of those banned don't want to come back to a censored board. It is difficult to have a "debate" when your opponent is controlling the microphone.

Knox, dont you know that no matter how many times you say this, they will still do it? If I wanted to know what was going on with buzzoff, I would go visit the site. Who cares what they think? If they want to hate on CPJ, let them. I coulda just not clicked this thread, but at 5 pages long, I figured there had to be something good in it. Count me as disappointed...

That comment, at least, is a bold faced lie.

Not only have BBuzzOff regulars started personal threads bashing myself and others from both the Hive and from Stingtalk, but they have included personal pictures they've lifted from other GT websites to make fun of GT fans and their children/families.

The owner/moderator of that site himself has posted pictures that include my toddler daughter when taking personal shots at me.

I know this because I've had friends and fellow GT fans come to me and tell me about it...alerting me to the fact that someone is posting pictures of my family in threads aimed to disparage myself and others in the GT community.

So...when you defend this site and its denizens...keep in mind you are defending miscreants who will stop at nothing to disparage or insult people who don't agree with them.

What a crock of crap. Chan was not liked there before his first game as head coach. That bog of ignorance will continue to hate whomever our coach is, if he doesn't meet "their standards". All that group is is a bunch of petulant little children. Sad bastards.

Reality is that the moderator removes posts that he disagrees with, and bans people for speaking their opinion if it doesn't jibe with him. He says they are "lying". That's the reality over there.

Hell, that 'GROUP' IS VERY LARGE. And ignorance reigns right here in folks like you who have nothing better to do but bash - and say things that aren't true. Like everyone on BuzzOFF does not like the new hire - that's a flat out lie!

Chan was not liked as a hire by a whole lot of fans who never go to message boards. A lot of fans held off till they saw what happened the lst season.

After 51-7 at Ga - you had to be in a bunker some where not to realize what the hell Tech got themselves into hiring this guy.

Johnson gets a hell of a lot more respect and support than Chan did 6 seasons here and he hasn't coached a damn game yet. Tell it like it is:rolleyes:

At the time I posted this it was a true statement. Even tho I had not posted in a long time I still read. At that time there was nothing on this board worth reading.

I know on a personal basis many who post on BO, how many of you bashers can say they have held season tickets for 35 or more years? Not many I'm sure. If you read you will notice I did not in a personal way bash anyone on this board except one person who made absurd statements about people who has legitimate claims. I was just painting a picture of how this board had nothing worth reading.

As far as CrackerJackets claims. I have never read anything about him on BO. I do not read all threads either here, BO or the hive as some things are just not worth wasting time to read. What he says may be true and I would like him to link his statements to see if it's true. I would like many to read and call out the person who he says made derogatory statements. Of course it's OK here or on the hive to make those statements about people on BO but by god you better never make a statements about the holier than thou people who post here or that NAZI board called the hive.

Its a bit difficult to link to threads on that board when it is suddenly locked down and unviewable by people who aren't registered.

Its predictable...when GT wins that board is locked. When posters on other boards make ligitimate points about content posted by the owner of that board, it is locked down so that the content can be hidden or removed.

I'm no longer a Hive moderator. I stepped down before this season began. But trust me when I say that posting personal pictures or private details on the Hive would NEVER be allowed...especially if they were being used in a derogatory manner and ESPECIALLY if pictures of people's CHILDREN were being posted.

I'll use 20ozBulldog as an example. When people discovered who he was and posted his personal details as related to his professional bio at Elon, we removed it very quickly and made it quite clear that posting personal details about people was not allowed.

There are lines, of good taste and reasonable conduct, that cannot be crossed on internet message boards. You DO NOT post private details about people that would impact their jobs or their families...just because you disagree over message board content.

Witness the fact that I still have restrained myself from posting details about the individuals who posted pictures of MY DAUGHTER on their message board. It doesn't mean that I don't have the details available...it means that I'm not going to stoop to their level and wallow in the mud with them. I'm a better MAN that that.

I "Told The Damn Truth" about what I read reading many threads on that one visit. The posts from some cross-posters were ridiculous in how differently they acted there and reported their actions. You'd think they would know that because of this thing called the interweb thingy that you can't "talk behind someone's back". ....Maybe it was just a bad day for my "one visit". Maybe the fonts who were carping had sand in their collective vagina on that day and the normal discourse is measured, coherent, and respectful debate.

...Maybe, but I doubt it. I learned enough on my "one visit" not to ever go back.
