The CW is taking over for Bally's

It is for the ATL market. Not sure if you will have it in Augusta.

don't have it in Savannah market.
But there's an Emergency! on? Cool.

I used to watch as a kid every week, and had this bad boy in front of me playing out the storyline. Except my ambulance was all white. I used some "vampire blood" from Halloween to put on the yellow shirt for added realism.

I don't think the blackout rules are really comparable to the NFL's rules. Our games being televised don't depend on sell outs. You just can't stream a game from a secondary source it it's already broadcast in a given market.

CW is not a national channel but rather associated with local affiliates. There is something called CW Plus that is carried on some systems.

So, if your local market is in ACC footprint and you have a CW affiliate in your local market you should get the games.

In theory, if you are not in the ACC footprint you should be able to watch these games via ESPN+. If you are in the ACC footprint, it will be blacked out on ESPN+.

I do not believe that the CW app on Roku and other smart TV platforms does any live streaming, so it is doubtful that you will be able to watch on the CW without an antenna or subscription to a streaming service that carries it.

The CW affiliate in Savannah is 3.2.
Some of the other digital channels are available on DirecTV Stream - MeTV, for instance - but not the CW. Not right now, at least

Just saw WUPA 69 in Atlanta is dropping CW effective Aug 31. The channel is owned by CBS. No one announced to take over the feed yet.

I am told that the ACC games will follow the LIV Golf protocol and Atlanta will get the games:

1. Stream Live on The CW App
2.Watch Live on Broadcast TV (Channel 17 - Peachtree TV WPCH-TV)
3.Watch On Demand

I have also been told that Channel 17 is in process of becoming the new Atlanta CW station.

For all Georgia Tech Alumni & Fans, I suggest using this "by Zip Code" to find your local station for ACC on CW:

If you can't get an antenna to watch the cw, then message me. I think every Tech fans deserves to be able to watch the game, but after I ridicule you for not being able to get a real or rig up a free antenna, you might want to disassociate yourself which is okay by me.

This is Lincoln log level of engineering here. I consider this survival of the fittest.

Nexstar-owned CW will begin airing 50 ACC college football and basketball games starting this fall and running through the 2026-2027 season. Interview with CW President Dennis Miller on why they why he dipped into the college sports space with the ACC!
