Yeah, I'll give you that he played hard, but you can't fix STUPID. His attitude was his problem. And if you can't work on your attitude it affects the way you play the game.

He deserved every ounce of support that he got from the GT Fanbase. he was and probably still is a f'n thug who thought that he was a helluva lot better than he was. He never showed signs of progress IMO and that makes he either A: Too Cocky (meaning he thought he was good enough already), which makes you worse in the long run. OR B: Being a Team Player. It always (IMO) seemed to be about him. He did this or he did that or he threw it out of bounds on 4th down.

Everyone jumped on the Taylor Bennett bandwagon too when Reggie left after his coming out party (against UCONN if you count that) or the Gator Bowl. Bottom line is Calvin made him look like Peyton Manning. To sum up his career: If he couldn't beat out Reggie for 2 years then how GOOD COULD HE HAVE BEEN?

JJ, go see if you can find a certification for your overall True Stupidity....you're already certifiable in my book. Congrats

Man, you really hurt my little feelings. It's almost like having Beebad, Beeware, Foggy, and Ms Techanalysis back throwing insults. Apparently, you are just dandy with that absolute crap that we had on the field the other night. REGGIE FREAKIN' BALL led us to a victory over the Canes when they were ranked 3rd in the country. We lost with the deepest set of runningbacks in the history of our program. A group that apparently has not been coached and has not been motivated at any time in since the third quarter of last November's UGAg game. We have gotten our ass handed to us pretty much since the end of that game. We were out coached. We were pushed around. Miami toyed with us. A Reggie Ball led team would have KILLED our team that played at Miami.

As far a Reggie goes. He helped carry this team after flunkgate. He WON many of the games for us by putting this team on his back. He never quit. I saw plenty of quit the other night on both sides of the ball.

But that's my opinion.

He did quit on TECH too, the minute he began Not going to class, cheating (or whatever), etc.

That's just as much cheating IMO as doing it on the field

RIIIIGHT MR Charlotte. Just how many year of not missing a homegame have you attended in a row. I'm good back to at least 1985 other than when my father in law in Tennessee died of cancer in 2006. Really, somebody on here is defending Reggie? JN made some decent passes last night which we're forgetting about. No, he'll never be a 70% completion rate, 300 yards passing type QB, but he's miles better than Reggie was, especially outside of Calvin circus catches.

In his defense, he did credit for the class on appeal after the bowl game. Of course, it only happened because he never showed up to the class, did the homework and was unsuccessful e-mailing it. If he just turned it in in class, none of it would have happened.

I've been to every home game since 99 when I began getting season tickets. (and I'd gone to atleast 4 or 5 in the years prior since I was a kid and in college in Valdosta)

4 of those years I lived in Jackson MS and 5 have been from Charlotte. For the Last 5 I've been to every game with the exception of San Fran and Boise. And while I was in MS, I went to about 8-10 of the games

Atleast my Mush head as you call it knows what the hell I'm talking about.

And while we're have a measuring contest, well I won't go there wrinkly balls

The funny part is that in all of those games since 85 you still don't have a ****in clue as to how the game is played, etc.
