They need a new coach in Statesboro

Aren't GSU and KSU on the same level? If so, why would Bohannon leave Kennesaw for Statesboro? Kennesaw having a program is already cutting into the players GSU could recruit. Seems like it would be easier to recruit at KSU nowadays.

No, KSU is FCS and GaSou is FBS.

No. KSU is FCS. Southern is G5 Sun Belt. Southern should have stayed FCS, but their arrogance at wanting to keep up with the App States and GSUs (go Pantha) has stuck them as an also-ran. Glory days are done.

Coach Nqwertyuiopasdfghjklzxvcbnm is supposedly on the hot seat at navy. I would be shocked if Paul came out of retirement.

Man, I didn't realize how bad it was. Pre-covid 2019 average attendance numbers in Statesboro: 13.5K. Where is the upside?

I don't think whoever they hire could install 3O in a week. They are going to have to ride out this season and take their lumps.

So did anyone else see the video on posted on Twitter Saturday night from the Ga Southern pre game?
Lunsford’s seat was already warm - I’ve met him and he’s a great guy - but that clip….
Cue Jim Morrison

If I can find it to post, I will
Here’s the Cliff Notes:
One of the traditions is for the players to pull up in the stadium in yellow school buses as they belt out The Valley Song ((this harkens back to the formative days under Erk)
But Saturday one of the players, apparently the starting nose guard, decides to go full Teen Wolf and surf stop the bus
While apparently chugging a beer Austin 3:16 style

They will have an interim coach for the remainder of the season, most likely. Weren't they essentially running that offense, except from the shotgun, though? I don't follow them.

I don’t think the new AD is going to harvest the pj coaching tree
He came from the SEC (Ole Miss, I think) so that may be his avenue of approach
