Top 5 Coaches that need to go

I watched PIG on a plane yesterday. One of the weirdest ööööing movies I’ve ever seen.

Our defense would look a lot better if we weren’t ranked in the 100s for 3rd down conversion percentage
Wrong. Our defense could have found some pride on those 3rd and 12's. Especially down 31-30 and BC on the 7.

Shocked that Key isn't on the list of five. Not sure what he has done to deserve retention. Hard for Patenaude to call running plays when the RB is getting hit behind the line. Hard to call passing plays when QB's are running for their life. Our o line looks outmatched every game, and that is saying something. Without Gibbs or the QB's running like they do, we would be even worse on the rushing stat sheet. Key needs to go.
Key is 6 I almost put him with pnut but He has had a tough job with getting the bodies he needs along with injuries and young guys

The problem is Collins. As if that needed to be said. The head coach creates a master plan and he hires good coaches to execute his plan. Problem with Collins, the marketing guru, is that his master plan lack focus on playing football at a high level.
Are you saying that if a head coach screws up with his initial coordinators he needs to be let go?

I’m willing to see what Patenaude can do with a functional offensive line. He was putting up monster numbers at Coastal Carolina before fan favorite Jamey Chadwell got there.
True, but that was Coastal when they were at the FCS level, not the one wreaking havoc through the Sun Belt.

Not sure how you have Kerry anywhere near this list with Weisehan not there above him. We have gotten nearly nothing from our TEs over the last 3 years. I haven't paid enough attention to whether they contribute a lot blocking-wise (I would guess not), but they definitely have not been a factor in the design of the offense.

Offensive line can look bad at times, but the offense is not why we are not winning....It's defense.
Offensive line and secondary are the two main on field reasons that Collins really bothers me. @JJacket says the OL youngsters need time to grow and develop, but the young ones are already big enough. The secondary is the oldest squad on the team, but they are the deepest with the recruits. To me, the better way to make the 'greatest transition of all time' should have been by starting the young ones now to gain experience. I guarantee they would have won three games and no one would be bitching because we would see the youngsters make the transition.

As it is now, we see upperclassmen failing, while we hear how great the recruiting classes are. Now, we will have upperclassmen leaving and inexperienced players following them, which just gives him another excuse to tell us we are refusing to see the improvement. I'd rather see a freshman taking his lumps than see a coach refusing to start them as we fail.

Why have we failed so miserably in recruiting TE's? After three years we have one transfer from Temple who was somewhat successful for one season. For two years we have been playing a converted long snapper extensively. This in spite of the fact we can promise immediate playing time to a recruit or transfer.

My thing is with the TE is that the offense is really designed to use them as blockers rather than recivers

Maybe that is because that is the only thing the current TE's are capable of.
I wonder why they haven't tried Bruce Jordan-Swilling or some of the larger WR's at TE?

I don't know if you can hold that against the TEs coach. Ultimately, it's Patenaude's decision how to use them on offense. He's the coordinator. So if you're going to hold someone accountable for the lack of production, in receiving, from the tight ends, look to the guy designing and calling the plays.
Though, frankly, I'm kinda tired of the whole staff. Every position coach and our ballyhooed S&C coach.

Tyler Davis was from UConn.
which is even worse than Temple.

Whose job is it to find players who can be motivated by pride, and then to instill that pride into them, you ööööing imbecile? Please tell me you didn't actually get a degree from Georgia Tech.

He didn't.
