HardlyWhere they transferred is not relevant.
While the scholarships are one-year commitments, that's because they're premised on the kids' grades and effort in school and on the team.
It would be very, very wrong for the school to give a kid a scholarship, decide they didn't like him, he didn't fit the system, we found somebody better, etc., and then deprive him of the scholarship and/or force him to transfer.
I really hope that's not happening here...
If that's why the kid left, no worries at all. But we're talking about that lady's Twitter allegation.Do you think Collins was given 4 years to clear all the current recruits then another few years after to perform? Kids at all schools leave because they aren’t going to see the field. Happens everywhere.
15 guys with eligibility left went elsewhere or just stayed in school didn't return to the teamDidn't our tight ends leave to go play elsewhere when Johnson came in? I think one went to Alabama and started.
And this has to be true, otherwise it wouldn't be on the internet. The Twitter lady specifically wrote that the kid wasn't given the option of riding the pine.
I resent the allegation, and I resent the alligator.I wonder what evidence Twitter lady has to support the allegation.
I think a transition as major as ours is is somewhat understandable to have large turnover. However we are talking about gentlemen who chose and represented Tech so can we please shut this bs chain? There is nothing exciting about this process and I wish them all the best.
I know plenty of Tech students that couldn’t cut it in the classroom and got sent packing to other schools. Football is no different.
It’s the real world folks. These are young adults we’re talking about.
I figured some of our OL who just didn't fit the new scheme might leave.
No one's saying it's true. I'm saying I hope it's not true. And this has to be true, otherwise it wouldn't be on the internet.

I suspect I would feel differently depending on whether or not weighing more was relevant to my job junction...? Pretty sure models and actors have to lose and gain weight all the time...?I wonder how you would feel if your new boss told you that your job was safe... as long as you gained 70 pounds in the next three months.
But these are not jobs. These are one year scholarships.
I agree with her. That sucks. It’s something the old regime refused to do. But it’s also something our competition has no problem doing. So it’s a big moral dilemma. Take the high road or compete. I think the choice has been made with the new regime.
