UGAy playing GA Southern Good or bad?

If my explanation only requires as much substance as your post, then consider this my explanation.

Gotcha. You've realized you don't have an actual argument and instead are just going to bitch out.

Wasn't the starting QB suspended for the WVU game?

First two games. But the backup plays quite a bit anyway. I don't think it would have mattered much had Ellison played against West Virginia.

UGA is ranked top 10 in yards allowed. Their Offense is about as inept as ours so Dwags have edge, but they are not unbeatable.

Georgia's defense also has had the luxury of playing Vanderbilt and Missouri's offenses, the SEC's version of the Iraqi army.

If Georgia keeps Breida especially in front of them, they likely will win this game. But if they start gambling and don't take their gap assignments to heart, he'll go right by them in a heartbeat. Ellison too. And the Fields kid might be the next big star at Southern.

Ok.

I look at our game vs Duke. You said any game between any two teams.

That game was indicative that we weren't going to have a good year. It played out the very next week when we lost to UNC.

What about the Duke game last year? Did you think that we would steamroll the #2 SEC team and beat the #4 SEC team on the road after that one?

Ordinarily, it would help. Except that CPJ will study the film and design wrinkles to counter what he figures UGa will expect from us based on the way they play GSU.

So basically, its like they are showing their hand before they see ours.

Advantage Tech.

Hopefully they will spend the week going into the Southern game prepping against the option, and in so doing will lose the Southern game.

That way, even if Tech loses to Georgia, someone else still gets to put "State Champs" on their rings to troll Athens.

In your heart of hearts did you really think the FSU game meant we were back on track?

Depends what side you bet on.. In your heart of hearts if you really thought we still sucked you should have bet the mortgage on uva but you didn't so stfu

I think the line is 16 points, or was yesterday, and that's about right. Pruitt's defense does okay against spread-type and option teams. Most of the time anyway. Our offense will struggle no matter the opponent, but probably get three or four touchdowns against a fairly ordinary D like GSU. And we'll go about 4 for 9 on field goals, so add 12 points. I don't think it helps UGA against GT other than reinforcing assignment football against the option. AU scored seven on its first possession Saturday, Pruitt adjusted, and just two field goals the rest of the game. It's manageable unless the passing threat is real. For Auburn it wasn't.
