Uniforms??

I know some
No, they don't, and that's my point. Why should we look like somebody else, because an incompetent AD declared (based on a provable lie) that blue should be a secondary color for Tech and then proceeded to use it like a primary color. I don't know what, if any, Tennessee's secondary color is, but Clemson's is purple, and they use it once a year at most. We, on the other hand, again because of TStan, have a "uniform of the week", just like they do at Oregon, where he was previously employed. Although there was very little color at all in any uniforms before the 1930s, Tech has nevertheless always been the White and Gold, so why get away from that BRAND now? There is no blue in Buzz's costume; there is no blue on the Wreck.....just in team uniforms. STUPID in my opinion. I will concede that, although I didn't like it, Ross's teams, including the 1990 NC team wore blue, so ok, wear that once a year in tribute to those teams. But there is absolutely nothing about Collins' teams that deserves any kind of recognition or tribute. So DITCH the blue uniforms his teams wore completely.
TStan did not work at Oregon. You're just trying to correlate things. It's not all on him or on Collins. We had the blue pants and jersey when CPJ was still here, and even wore the all-blues in the Quicklane bowl because the players wanted to.

I know some aren't a fan of the white helmets, but IMO this is one of the cleanest uniforms we've had in a while:

Because it’s stupid, it looks stupid, and it came from stupid.
In your opinion, I suppose. I don't have a problem with it. As far as being a Collins thing, lots of schools do it. I don't care one way or the other, but it seems like an awfully trivial thing to get triggered over.

Yup.

I am a fan of all the white and gold combos, although WWW should be reserved for home whiteout game imo.

Navy is not Tech imo. GNW is an ok tradition once a year if we want to honor 1990.

I agree it's minor, but lots of schools don't have area code patches on their jerseys.

This would look 100x better if they had bothered to finish out the ööööing stripes. Adidas loves to half-ass it.

If I had to guess, the gold foil material doesn’t work well with the material used to make the cuff on the pant leg which is presumably more elastic than the rest of the material.

There is blue on the GT logo on the Wreck. I don't see why you hate navy, but you're fine with black...
Have you looked close enough to know for sure that that is blue on the Wreck logo? Since the Wreck was first introduced in the late 60s, I would bet that it is actually black, not blue. Trim is one thing, and for the most part, I don't care if it's black or blue. But blue UNIFORMS just are NOT Tech and never will be. Black ones, other than an occasional use of a black jersey, are not Tech either.

Sorry. Oregon State
