The Whiteout jersey is a bold new look for a bold tradition on The Flats. Its style mirrors the primary home jersey but with navy blue numerals, reversed navy blue and gold sleeve stripes and gold stripes on either side of the collar. It will be worn for the Yellow Jackets’ Nov. 10 Whiteout game versus Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division rival Miami (Fla.) and road games.

Ive been staring at our new uniforms for the past hour. Now the old russell unis looks like something designed in ms paint by a middle schooler. Its surreal that we finally have uniforms 95% of us will actually like.

For real. I did like the plain stripes of the throwback Russell uniforms. Either way, I will always take Adidas over Russell.

Russell’s problem is that it has no brand. None. So they couldn’t do anything like the subtle blue stripes on the shoulders or the new stinger stripe and have anyone go “great job Russell.” So they made up dumb öööö like the bubble letters and the weird piping that everyone hated to try to stand out.
