Players like him and that's all that matters.
In the AJC article, it says Johnson, when pressed for comment, deferred to Walkosky. That tells me Johnson didn't fire him. It's not his style to defer comments when he axes somebody.
Maybe Coach W thought that he should be coaching d-line?
Georgia Tech: Per source, Georgia Tech special teams coordinator Dave Walkosky has left the staff.

Not sure what special teams players you have spoken with...
Dead hooker? Live boy? 5 dead hookers?
Anyone else intrigued by the Pat Hill rumor? He had alot of good buzz out in Fresno for awhile and you'd have to think he could make a postive impact on the O-line if given the chance.

give him a place to stay in the same city for another year before he uproots again; maybe he is waiting to land another college HC or D-Coordinator job; maybe he has kids in school
personal matters do weigh in
I hear JfN was named assistant coach of "give me the d*** ball back".
That would be a good fit, but I would prefer him to coach the, "I'm gonna get this ööööing first down" team.
He was just fired by the Falcons, but CPJ is good friends with Mike Smith, so you would think he'd have some insight about him being let go.
