It's irrelevant. That's the point I'm trying to make in the other posts. GT was never going to make that gamble in the first place, not to follow up what the previous iteration did. I think in general people on this forum are overly cavalier about how big a gamble it is or what would be at risk.

Also Tech took their chance on the air dancer tube man at the used car lot. Colorado is taking their chance on a legit celebrity. I don't understand how people can't tell the difference.

It’s game 1. TCU caught lightning in a bottle last year. TCU does not look like the TCU who won every close game minus 1 against KSU in the B12 title game. The true tests for Colorado will come when they play @ Oregon, USC, @ UCLA, Oregon State and @ Utah. I have a feeling all 5 (minus maybe UCLA) of those teams are significantly better than TCU.
