Well, the offensive hires have been impressive. Hope that equates to wins. Maybe we will be like we were in the late 90s and out score everyone......nah LOL.
I hadn't heard that specifically, but I'd believe you considering what I do know about that hire. And Key pushed for Long to get the OC job.

This one is huge to me because I was very skeptical of Long coaching QBs. I'm still skeptical of that hire, but I can at least be optimistic that it may look more like his ND days than his Tulane days if the QB position coaching is handled by a true QB coach. All I have to say is finally a little bit of excitement in the coaching additions. Not that I did t like the others but this one could be over the top.
Resume wise, the O staff is a big upgrade. Losing Choice is just a ‘Tech can’t have nice things’ that we just learn to live with. All I have to say is finally a little bit of excitement in the coaching additions. Not that I did t like the others but this one could be over the top.
We should ask what it was like to be in the same backfield with Lee Corso and Burt ReynoldsHe was like 30 when he played for FSU so he must be around 60 now
Looks like QBs developed best after he left at Tennessee and the RamsIf he can develop Sims like he did Hooker then this is a great hire.
Didn’t Hooker arrive after Weinke left?Take a look at what Henden Hooker did this year. He has a lot of the same skill set as Sims. Hooker had 31 TD's vs. 3 Ints completed 68% of this passes while rushing for 820. If he could pull that out of Sims we could have ourselves a true game changer.

Yes. He was there in 2019 and 2020 and was fired at the end of the 2020 seasonDidn’t Hooker arrive after Weinke left?
