I'm not sure that the #2 guy from Alabama can help GT find its way back to being competitive.

The C****** error has pretty much sunk GT football for a generation.

Get used to three wins seasons for the next 15-20 years. We are now officially worse than Vanderbilt. Cabera realized what was happening, but acted too late. He should have sacked TSTAN and C****** last December.

GO JACKETS!!

Let’s hope it’s not 15-20 years with the football program tailspinning like the basketball program - 2 NCAA tourney wins since going to the national final 18 years ago.

I do think that the 3 years under Collins will probably cost the program 5-6 years minimum, going back to 2019. The right hire can right the ship in a few years as there are examples of that right now, see Illinois and even Tulane for just some examples.

Just think. If Cabrera had waited until the end of this season to dump Todd/Geoff it would have taken hundreds, if not thousands, of years of 3 win seasons to become competitive again.

Honestly, the attendance for that game was really concerning. You act and fire the coach/AD. Interim wins 2 games and nobody shows up. I get that it was cold and a weeknight, but it paints the picture that it's all too little too late and that it's going to be an uphill battle to win fans back to games.
We pull in more fans than Miami. I think we should relax till we see how the coaching search goes
