Much better analogy than the girlfriend, IMO. I fail to see any problem whatsoever, unless he has a bad attitude or is distracting the team.If he had decided to leave early for the NFL, would you guys have a problem with him continuing to train at GT? He's still in school this semester, right? Still on scholly? I just don't see a problem with it if the coaches and players don't see a problem with it. They are all friends, and if your friend decided to go elsewhere wouldn't he still be your friend?

I agree with you and others with one caveat. PB needs to be communicating where he is likely going to grad school. If is he going to a school we play in 2019, at that point things change. I assume the coaches have asked him not to go to a school on our 2019 schedule and he would not want to as he is a GT guy.If he had decided to leave early for the NFL, would you guys have a problem with him continuing to train at GT? He does not graduate until May. He is on a full athletic scholarship until he leaves.I would expect once he announces what school he is going to he would clear out, not because GT kicked him out but because he wants to be at the new school with the new team and staff.
Now if only we could reach that same overwhelming consensus in 90% of the N&P threads.Seems the overwhelming concensus is that it really is a case-by-case decision and would be based on facts we arent privy to.
I am confident when we sign 10 of the top 300 players in the country in the 2020 class that 90% of us will agree it was a good class. Now if only we could reach that same overwhelming consensus in 90% of the N&P threads.
Wut wut?Wut?

I dont think anyone is saying or expecting "fully participating". I think we are talking more about kicking out of edge or not. It’s distracting to have someone who doesn’t want to be a part of your team fully participating in what you’re doing.
Seems like a very big decision (leaving) to be made with no plan of where he's going to play. Since nobody knows what he is doing, it's difficult to say he's doing the right thing. The Brauns are tech men. They'll do the right thing. They always have. No reason we should worry about this young man's decisions.
