I'm not sure I agree with that, because it completely depends on his attitude and why he's leaving. If it's because he's unhappy at GT, then yeah he probably shouldn't be working out with the team. If it's because he wants to get a Master's somewhere else and boost his NFL draft stock, I don't think that should be a problem at all.

It's not like he's participating in team drills and taking someone's spot. I've had players condition with my team before that I knew would not end up actually on the team, for one reason or another. That's no problem at all if they have a good attitude - the only problems would be if he's got a bad attitude or is taking someone's spot in actual football drills.
