I may not know PJ as well as you do but pretty sure PJ does not giggle at anything ever.
Not true.
About 20 years ago (I had lived in Statesboro for a couple of years prior to moving to metro ATL at that time), ran into him at an event in Atlanta.
PJ: "Hey, what the hell you been up to?"
Me: "Same old s---, you know. Putting girls through school 10 dollars at a time. Whattaboutchu?"
PJ: (smirk and giggle).
FWIW, PJ OL recruiting at the end:
16 - only two. But those two were Cooper and Braun. Neither of whom was 6-1, 260. Though I saw Braun right after the Taxslayer Bowl win and I think him being listed at 6-3 was ... generous.
17: Charlie Clark (who started a game at RT in 20, BTW), Hansen, Quinney, Minihan. Also, not 6-1, 260 (yes, it's another shot at Coach Clown. TFB).
18: Maye, Jump, McKeehan. Maye's been hurt. Jump and McKeehan bolted during the coaching change.
That's nine guys in those three years and since you want about 15 guys on scholarship, that's pretty much the number you want each year. since most, not all, of those guys were going to redshirt a year
But, with the former offense, if you give me a line with Cooper, Braun, Hansen, Quinney, Minihan and Clark ... and we did have most of that line for 2018. Ask Louisville how much they enjoyed playing against them. So, for what the offense was at that time, that OL recruiting fit it. Hansen and Braun were great run blockers. Cooper too. Sure, the pass blocking could have stood to be better, but a lot of the passing game could have stood to be better at that juncture.
