This right here. Never wish anything good, much less winning anything, on the gaggers. I wanted them to lose yesterday, next week, every damn game they play. I want their baseball and gymnastics teams to suck. I want their team bus to break down. I want the pipes in their football offices to burst and flood. I want their top 10 donors to fail and go bankrupt. Nothing good for them, ever.

The old-school guys who actually went there are sometimes, and I mean rarely, tolerable. But that is about 1% of their fans. The rest suck and are insufferable, even their young alumni. Winning a natty would make it so much worse we should not even want them close.

Sorry for the rant, but too many folks on the board seem like they're going soft with the gaggers.

Yesterday, helped the Dawgs. I know there is alot of football left to be played but, they dont have any weaknesses except maybe at QB

They do have a big weakness which is that they are stupid. They will predictably get outcoached. It's why they haven't won a National Championship in 41 years. Hopefully they don't have enough talent to make up for it.
 
I want them to fail in every possible way, but I am not gonna think about it much until or unless they are in the natty game again.

That said, we have to beat them. We need to find a way to move the ball against their D. Sims has the athletic ability, moreso than any gagger QB. Gibbs is as good as any RB they have. Our OL has GOT to get better. We have three 6 year veterans up front - Cooper, Johnson, Cochran - that need to lead this bunch.
On defense, we need Keion White to step up. He didn't play Saturday, despite being ATL for the first time. Our DB's were supposedly our strong position, but have struggled - partly due to a lack of a pass rush.
We have to beat the Gaggers. Hopefully, Kentucky and Florida and Tennessee take the stress off and beat them and we can just deliver their 4th loss.

It is a nightmare scenario for GT having them rolling into our game undefeated with everyone in the state going batshit for them. Our odds are going to be long and an upset would be great, but I'd rather UGAg become more like Maryland and less like Alabama

If you go into that game hoping Tech can be the team that keeps uga from winning it all…and that really matters to you….I hope you don’t do any self harm after the game is over. There are hotlines that will be available to help you.

I think the UF QB could be a handful even for uga’s D. He will need to play one of his best games that day.

How many of those games was uga on the verge of winning it all? I don’t want you to underestimate the potential harm to your psyche.

You should make some trips to Athens also. There is no sweeter victory over uga than one witnessed live Athens.

We're cut from the same mold. I've already got it in my head that they're winning it all, just like in 2017- and then they didn't. Here's to hoping for the same result :)
 
There's still a long way to go before anyone is crowning the dwags. There's still multiple obstacles and I don't think the dwags will really know how good they are until they play the sec championship game. I will say they probably have the best defense in college football but it all coming together come January is a different story. As long as Saban has a pulse I wouldn't bet against him.

Yesterday did not help UGA at all. You think Kirby wants his team ranked #1 the rest of the way and all that entails? How long until something comes up with a player at a bar? And the pats on the back for the next 2 months won’t help when they play Bama. Meanwhile, Bama will be refocused. And I don’t see 2 SEC teams getting in because of optics and “alliance” politics. If anything yesterday helped Bama.
 
The motivation for UK and Florida just went off the charts. It will be very easy for the cesspool dwellers to celebrate this week and overlook UK.
 
If the inevital happens I think honestly cincy or Iowa may put a game against them Iowa is amazing they have a cake walk to the big 10 title

Arrived today in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Here with my wife, sis and bro in law, and another couple. Sis and bro in law are fanatic UGA fans -she hasn’t shut up today about “GA being ranked #1.” At dinner tonight (after she downed a bottle of champagne by herself) it got pretty damn annoying -I think her husband had even heard enough.

Funny thing is neither one of them went to UGA, and I’m a damn alum. This lifelong Tech fan/UGA grad thing is sometimes a weird existence, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here is how it helped UGAG, if Bama had not lost UGAG would have had to beat them twice. Now if they beat Bama, Bama does not make the playoff. No 2 loss team has ever made it.

I get that in a normal year. But with politics infecting everything the loser of the SECCG won’t get in the playoffs whether it’s Bama or UGA. So the “having to play then twice” thought isn’t in the picture this year. Look at Bama. They lose a close one on the road and they drop from #1 to out if the top 4. That will be UGA if they lose to Bama. Even though I think they both should get in the playoff if they win out this alliance stuff will force the committee to not put 2 from the same conference in. I just think in a 1 game scenario Saban > Kirby.

If Bama loses to Ugay, they are out. Saturdays loss was a big boost for Ugay
