What is your best GT Football memory?

'70 in Athens. My first trip. I was a youngster TECHfan and we whupped the puppies in their yard. And we won that game. Wasn't handed to us. Went on to the Sun Bowl (back when it was a decent bowl) and whipped some more tail.

We had a good team that year that came together towards the end of the season and played strong.

Coach Bud Carson team. His best.

Watching at GF as GT beat bama in 62. Don't know to this day how Dad got those 2 tickets.

Then Chambers kick.

Then Citrus Bowl.

For "in person" moments only:

1) Beating Nebraska for Natl Champ in 1990
2) OT win against UGA in 1999.
3) Watkins game winning catch at Clemson 2000
4) Beating Mich. St. in AA Bowl 1985
5) Beating ND in Gator Bowl (Jan. 1, 1999)

WATKINS one -handed catch in EZone after a 87 yd last possession march down the field, thrown by Joey!!!!!

Has to be the 2003 home opener for me. Gatech running over Auburn 17-3. Was my freshman year and first ever tech game. I wish i could swarm the field again even once after that....well....graduating this sem...last chance is gono be U(sic)GA

GO JACKETS!

That was a solid team. It had four or five Parade high school All-Amerians and a handful more were added for 1971. Optimism was extremely high. I was a student, and 11-0 prediction was being thrown around pretty liberally. I went to Columbia for the season opener. An unmitigated disaster. Things unravelled for Carson and for Tech starting that fateful night.
