White Out!!!

Hopefully this game will be for the Coastal title!!! Lets all quit bitchin and wear white to support the team and impress the recruits. Seriously, if you give a damn about the cold, or fashion, or spending $20 for a new shirt you need to question your manhood and/or school spirit.

You know what? You guys are so right... I doubt the GTAA has even thought of such a thing. I can't believe they aren't scouring Stingtalk to gain great wisdom and knowledge regarding the athletics of Georgia Tech.

Come on, people! Get on the wagon and quit whining and complaining about every little thing we try to do to make things a bit more exciting. I mean, I read posts on several GT sites about their anger over this past weeks game starting at noon. How about sucking it up and just enjoying things?

Sorry if this seems harsh but whenever something positive happens, its as though we are so used to complaining about negatives that we don't know how to handle the positive. Whatever...

For a fan base that has such a large group of folks wanting the team to wear White jersies, it is hard to believe most are not wearing White to the game anyway.

Especially when we have so many complaining about how hard it is to match the various shades of Gold.

I gathered as much and I probably shouldn't have quoted stinger, LOL. It was the closest post regarding that subject and I wanted to expound on it.

My post was meant in response to the one(s) who want to complain about it.

Yes, it would. If everyone participated. Not likely, seeing as how I have a FELLOW GT fan yell at me to "sit down" during the Miss. St game. I think this is a DUMB idea. If you MUST do it....go with a GOLD out or something.
 
I think the easiest way for the AA to get a “gold rush” or “white out” with our fan base is to hand out ponchos at a late October or November. I imagine they would cost about $.25 a piece if you bought 40,000. I can’t imagine the expense would be any greater than the pom-poms they used to give out.

Of course, then people would whine about the color of the free poncho.

What section do you sit in? This would not be a long-term problem in my section.
 
Every single man I know owns at least one white collar dress shirt. Wear it. Put at GT pin on or a yellow tie or something if you want. But don't tell me you don't have a shirt to wear. And if it's cold, the AA could announce a one flask per person allowed policy for this game, to help keep everyone warm.

I've sat in front of that guy at a game, too.
(It comforts me to think it's only one, and we've all sat near him.) This one was a fat guy, who looked pained at the idea of standing up for more than 2 minutes.
 
does this mean that Tech will be in their white away pants as well?
