White Out!!!

MHO. Allow me to make three points and a conclusion.

1. The stadium will be a mishmash no matter what game because the same hardheads who won't wear gold won't wear white either. I use hardheads as a term of endearment here.
2. Night games in October/November are often a mishmash anyway since not that many of us possess old gold coats.
3. Miami fans wear white in a far greater proportion than any other fan base. (Unless I recall previous games radically incorrectly)

Conclusion: Nobody will expect a perfect white out for a night game in November. The Miami fans and sections will be colored with a combination of random coat colors and white with traces of orange and green. That will blend in well with tech sections that will be random coat colors blended in with white. All in all it will look decent and the Miami fans will blend into the look.

Hey BuzzMD, can you look around and see if you can find 48,000 lab coats to 'borrow' from the hospital?
 
temperature will be about 55-50 degrees according to my calculations.
 
Dumb question here--but couldn't Miami force us to not wear our whites? I mean the players -- doesn't Miami have the right to say no to the white uniforms? So all the fans would be in white, but the team would be in navy or gold?

Wimps. I live just below the artic circle. If you can't stand the 40 degrees in a white hoodie. . .

Let me give you some hints in case you can't bear for your precious little digits to get cold:

1) long underwear
2) a second layer of long underwear if needed
3) flannel lined jeans (carhart makes these)
4) flannel shirts
5) topped by a white sweatshirt, hoodie, or long sleeve sweat shirt.

These things will keep you warm

You may also want to consider

1) Gloves
2) a hat that covers your ears
3) those cool hand warmer things.
4) Warm boots and warm socks.
5) Going to the doctor and finding out why your testes have yet to descend.

I hope something on this list helps you. Your insurance should pay for the doctors visit.

If you can't wear white, you are just the typical Tech nerd who complained about there being nothing to do at school while you sat at your computer all the time.

Don't like the White Out, we can't get a 'Gold Out'!

I wore Navy for years, switched to Gold, I don't know why were' going White, and I know PJ, didn't pick the uni colors but, all I see is the coaches with 'White' hats.

Sorry stinger, but there's no reason people can't wear white. If worse come to worse, wear your coat and put an XXL white t shirt over it. The sad thing is that we whine about stuff like this. MD just did a white out for a soccer game. No big deal, pretty much everyone wore white and they had a blast...in the rain, in the cold, while they lost. But we're already worried about how bad it will be in 2 months.

They have a deadline to accept our request to swap uniforms. I would be willing to bet quite a bit that the deadline has passed and they were down with us wearing white.

None of us are worried about how bad it wil be in two months. We'll all wear whatever color they tell us to. Well maybe some of us won't.

We're all worried about the 50+% Tech fans who don't give a damn, over half of who won't wear white even if they have it because it will be "too cold". We all know they the stadium will be at least a third navy because of that. Personally, even though i wish it could be all gold, I think it looks pretty good half navy half gold(or white in this case). But it will still be pretty depressing when, as studnets, we all wear white and half the stadium is wearing navy. also i am drunk ****in meets. but this pots it true

Still don't get why everyone thinks this has something to do with ugag? We're probably the ONLY school in the country who hasn't done this yet. Should we stop doing YJA? Lots of schools have players walks and have been doing it longer than us. How about the band marching to the stadium. AT MD they not only march to the stadium but completely around the field pregame. I guess we should just have the band come through the gates with the other students and go to their seats. If people don't participate they should be heckled and laughed at. If they are really fans there's nothing hard about wearing a white shirt.
 
I have been to Grant Field in Nov. (admittedly years ago) where the wintry temps AND WIND were like weather at the poles. FREEZIN ASS COLD!!

Good luck with yr t-shirts. Very dumb idea. Buy a sweatshirt? Carry an umbrella. Who's the flaggot that decided we had to copy the dags anyway? Why don't you instead just run around the parking lot in a jock singing some gay song? Maybe that will make the game experience more meaningful for you. How stupid. :rolleyes:
 
What does it have to do with UGA? If we start doing it right after they do, it would seem to me that it would be copying. If we can't think of things on our own, then keep the status quo.

UGA: "We're gonna do a blackout!!!"

GT: "Oh, yeah, then we'll do a white-out! We'll show you!"
 
Come on people! Quit whinning about how cold it may be in November! If you look hard enough, you may just be able to find a long sleeve pull over mock turtle neck!! Jeez, some of you guy's would bitch about anything.
 
Shouldn't this be clear....the dawgs announced THIS WEEK that they would blackout. We had already planned to do this last week and changed to Miami. Just because UGAy has done it before doesn't mean we're copying them...if that's your argument then you better count every single team in the nation that has ever done it.

Grow a f*ckin pair and either wear a white sport shirt, t-shirt, sweatshirt, or Miami Vice era sportcoat with white loafers but for good goddamnsake support our kids and our football program rather than your delicate sensibilities which don't allow you to do anything but act self-righteous and argumentative.

THINK WHITE. dumb idea. much easier to show up with signs, noisemakers, etc., but NOOOOO. We've got to copy the dags. Don't fergit to cheer when TECH does good, i.e., touchdown, firstdown, etc. make some NOISE!!
