Who are we hiring for HC next year?

You'd rather have a guy who was an absolute disaster at a school that fills its 100,000 seat stadium and is loaded with 4 and 5 star recruits?
If by disaster you mean winning a national championship and winning an average of 9 games a year then yes I would rather have him.

I feel so petty... but I don't know if I could hire a UGA alum. Then again, Dooley was an Auburn alum. It happens.

D Royal was an OU man.
Dodd was a Tennessee man.
Ray Graves was a GT man.
Pat Dye was a ugag man & Bryant asst.
Saban was an lswho man.
Frank Broyles was a GT man.

I hope, at some point, GT fans will care about the team as much as we care about b.s. that does not matter.

I think this makes sense so CPJ can get to be around be retire as we move onto Ken. Easiest transition for the program

And would be the kiss of death, typically stupid GT hire ( curry over Spurrier kind of stupid) that would probably set the program back another 10 to 15 years on many levels.

If the Hill started letting in more exceptions, I’d love Charlie Strong. But if the Hill let in more exceptions, we’d be winning more games now. We have a talent handicap and no head coach can hide that.

Would definitely be an improvement. Learned great lessons at texas.

Think he could recruit better than CPJ (only thing he cares about is getting good players that good schools offer but offer them based on positions they should be playing, or offering guys from nobody schools that jump at first P5 offer whether they are good or not).

And much better motivator.

GT is going to have to pull out the checkbook and hire a name to do better. The whole perception of GT football needs a change because outside of us nobody gives a crap about GT football.

People who know me I'm not a big fan of CPJ, but transitonally speaking can we afford 3-4 years? Maybe Ken modifies to something less 3O more modern O?
