He should not be considered:
1. Losing to UVA and than not starting Zach Pyron at FSU
2. being blown out by a weak FSU team
3.The problem with this win is that VT only has two wins...We are more like a 2 win VT team than FSU team who is playing for bowl eligibility

Key deserves consideration. In saying that I am contradicting my, “get rid of the whole staff comments” made earlier today during the 2nd quarter. This team plays hard for him, and that is something, particularly considering a mid-season firing of the HC.

I will trust our AD with this decision, but again, I do think Key deserves some consideration.

I can understand that. Finishing 6-6 with the way the first month went would be an accomplishment.

Regardless of who the new coach will be, I am optimistic. I think that the team can be much better than most think pretty quickly--especially if the 0-line can just get to average.

Did you even read the actual post before responding? Loosen up man.
 
What ifs - Pyron starts the UVA game, we’re 5-4 (4-2) in the Coastal, instead of 4-5 (3-3).

Miami is a winnable game, not sure about UNC, and doubtful we will defeat the semi-pro team over in Athens.
 
Don't want to hire him, but would like to see us win the next two, and win a bowl game. Would be a great way for him to go out as interim coach, redeeming what had been an pretty uninspiring tenure as a Tech coach up until recently.

I would be extremely surprised if we make a bowl and he doesn't get the job.
