Win probabilities / bowl eligibility

Could be considered improvement given that we were partially gifted 1 win that should've been a loss last season.
I can't see the improvement at 6-6.

And I want to see it.

My monkey math says 6 wins in 2023 = 6 wins in 2024. Lots of places, seats would start getting warm after back-to-back six-win regular seasons. Need 8 wins next year. No excuses.

I agree. 6 wins would be a disappointing season to me. Never been a big Key fan, wanted Fritz, and this season is affirming some of my concerns about Key. I appreciate that Key has the right virtues for Georgia Tech but it isn't enough.

Tulane already has 6 wins

I forgot that Fritz went to Houston. 3-5, ouch. They were 4-8 in 2023 though.

6 Tulane wins =/= 6 GT wins

6 wins was my expectation for the year with this schedule. Still there for the taking...

Win the bowl game and it's back to back 7 win seasons. That feels a little better.

After Collins though I'm glad to get back to Chan level

I still have high hopes for Key and I liked Fritz, but one poster on here, I think @GTCrew4b ? was pushing for Cignetti at every opportunity. That looks like a pretty good pick right now.

I hate to be the one to tell you, but you are suffering from CDS: Clown Derangement Syndrome.

Chan was/is a good man. Someone you could proudly root for. Key reminds me of him in a lot of ways. But Chan's results were not acceptable to a lot / many / most Tech fans then, and I don't think they would, or at least should, be acceptable now. We can take 6's, but you need to throw us an 8 or 9 every three or four years followed by a bowl win on a field which isn't painted blue or in a baseball stadium.

And beat ugag, at least once.

I didn't think you were. I just know how some folks turn their nose on Monken because of the offense, but when you look at it, especially this season, it's a thing of beauty.
I agree, and I think NIL makes it more viable than ever before. Recruiting was the big knock on the system, but it's a completely different ballgame now.
