Winning a natty at LSU guarantees you'll be on the street in about 2 years, as does only-winning-9-games.

UF runs guys out of town pretty quickly too. Neither is on the list though.
 
I mean, we all know U[sic]GA are redneck assholes. You might ascribe that to the fact that they’re an in-state rival, but it seems like they’re that way to everybody.

I voted Miami. They’re assholes in every possible way. Delusional, abusive, obnoxious, couldn’t find the actual campus on a map.

Miami fans are bad. Maryland fans are awful when they win even the slightest bit. WVU fans are bad.

Our fans are terrible when we play uga. uga fans are bad regardless of who they are playing.

NCSt fans are violent, but oddly mostly amongst their own.
 
Ive been to away games at almost all of these places. Objectively it's UGA and not very close, and you'll hear that from much more than Tech fans. If you answer anyone else I can only assume you're compensating for your "good" UGA friends/family.

Tennessee and Bama are distant runners up, for different reasons.

Most of the rest list don't warrant a mention.
Either far too irrelevant, benign/genteel, or much too good natured.

For whatever reason, VPI people really mellowed out after that campus shooting a few years back. Before that, going up there was a “watch your back and expect abuse” situation. After, they leave you alone and generally seem fine. Maybe there was a downturn in their football fortunes that also humbled them, but I feel like that came later than when they stopped being assholes to visitors.

Clemson people are, in my experience, actively nice and kind for the most part. They’ve gotten a little big-headed with their recent success, but they’re OK.

ND fans are arrogant, but visitors are beneath their notice and they don’t hassle you.

Duke, UNC, and UVA fans are too occupied with wine, cheese, and women’s soccer to give you a hard time at football. UVA has the most obnoxious fight song, though.

I haven’t been to Bama or UT.

2. Miami - their alumni are fine, but they really attract some bottom of the barrel pieces of öööö
3. VT - they're arrogant and talentless in every aspect of life.

5. GT - bitter, negative, and self important
6. Duke - preppy kids with punchable faces
7. Notre Dame - Canadians

Came here to suggest that GT belongs on the list, but not at the top. That said, we have not had much to be cheerful about since 2016 really.

Perhaps the ones that travel out are different, but I remember a gaggle of them kept trying to get into the student section during the 09 game, to the point of climbing up on the railing and dropping down.

Don’t think it had anything to do with that. They had a chip on their shoulder for a long time b/c they thought they were an elite program with a title inbound. Took them about a decade to realize what the rest of the country already knew, they’re an average program that had an elite DC and a string of 5* DT QBs.

But yeah they’re a little more humbled now. Still an inflated sense of self, but an internal understanding that their home field advantage was a myth and nobody fears them.
 
Never really had a problem with visiting fans. Cheering obnoxiously for your team is part of the game.
 
I don't see how you can crown just one as a champion. Undoubtedly, Georgia belongs there by themselves, probably because of my frequent interactions with them. From top to bottom, from their announcers down to sidewalk Walmart fans, they are total POS. There are numerous teams with a high degree of assholes. LSU and Miss State come to mind. Penn State people are nerdy, ignorant, and generally the type of yankee you abhor. As previously stated, for pure trash I'd rank Miami up there.

Gayest (not that there’s anything wrong with that): UVA

I lived in North Carolina for a year, near Raleigh, and the little brother syndrome among NC State fans is real. But I got along with the State fans. They were generally good people. UNC fans have that sense of entitlement to them.
There were no Duke fans in North Carolina.
I was also pretty close to Greenville and in that part of the state, the ECU fans are pretty rabid.
