I do live in Florida. They may have “tons” of fans in Dade and Broward Counties, but they must not know how to buy a ticket to a game
That is true. Outside of hardcore fans, they only come out when winning a lot

The more I see it, the more I see that it's clearly us as Tech fans. We absolutely bitch about our starting QB who has, from what I've read, a broken foot. Y'all need to do some thinking about this. He is a mobile QB who was playing injured last game, what do y'all think was gonna happen?

From a food fight at a basketball game to a mascot that threw water at the GT student section during a football game (both occurring at GT)…the award for worst fan base goes to Miami.

Ohio State wins the award for douchiest. If for nothing else than the elitist attitude and calling it THE Ohio State University.

u(sic)ga wins the award for most obnoxious. They’ll bark in your face… nothing more needs be said.
Plus, the Miami fan who decided to try to interrupt the band playing on the north stairs pregame. He was drunkenly harassing the cheerleaders/dance team until he was taken down by a hero GT fan - with prejudice. It looked like a DE blindsiding a QB back in the day when a DE could destroy a QB.

The Tech fan who made the tackle hit the Miami fan and took him down hard, got up, disappeared into the crowd (avoiding any assault charges). The Miami fan got up and staggered around and was led away for medical assistance. It was beautiful.

If you are the person who tackled the Miami fan, you are a hero of mine

It goes back to "Saint" Ara Parseghian running up the score in the 1960s, Dan Devine doing the same in the 1970s with his dislike of Pepper, & so on.

When we played in South Bend in 1970, their "bellhop dressed ushers" were cussing at us on the sidelines. Their seats came right down to field level & the sidelines were barely five yards wide, if that. The ushers spent their energy cussing at us & telling us to take a knee so their patrons in rows 1-5 could see. Even our Catholic players, several of which had been recruited by ND, couldn't believe their behavior. We didn't, they couldn't, so they did.

Dirtiest college football team in that era? Notre Dame.

Just one (ex-Catamount) OldeFarTekker's perspective

Don't forget the '99 Gator Bowl and their stupid band playing their asinine fight song over the post-game awards presentation to our team and players.

This thread is really making the case that it's us.

Never fail to disappoint. Some exhibit the same traits as criminals being questioned by the authorities w/o a lawyer. Keep ‘em talking long enough and they’ll eventually so their true colors.
