A member of the athletics board said in a back-and-forth in FB last winter that they had the money to fire Collins then, but TStan talked them out of it, presumably putting his own job on the line when doing it. Although I saw some actual improvements in both the offense and defense tonight, Collins stuck his nose in on 4 different occasions, showing that he still runs the show and runs it miserably. Not calling a TO before the half was IDIOTIC, and then calling all 3 2nd half timeouts by early in the 4th quarter shows he really doesn't have a clue. Fire him now and let Long take the job on an interim basis and evaluate him at the end of the season as to whether he should be named HC.
