Not calling a TO before the half was IDIOTIC, and then calling all 3 2nd half timeouts by early in the 4th quarter shows he really doesn't have a clue. Fire him now and let Long take the job on an interim basis and evaluate him at the end of the season as to whether he should be named HC.

I wrote multiple letters to Gailey and Johnson They always wrote back. Mostly it was just a hand written short blurb of “Thanks for your support ...we are addressing issues “ type of response but sending a hand written letter to Geoff gets crickets

Unfortunately Collins needs to stay until the season ends due to the sweetheart deal TStan gave him. We need the money that will be saved. We need that money so that the next head coach can hire quality assistants.

TStan on the other hand can go at anytime. Hopefully someone is doing an AD search today.

Millions. As in a bunch of them. He isn't going anywhere until the end of this season once the decision was made to bring him back. If the season heads south, it would be financially irresponsible to not simply wait until the buyout drops significantly in early December.

Those were different times. And it was certainly different times under O’Leary and Fridge. $$$ influenced CFB back then, but not nearly as much as it does now. It’s just nearly impossible to compete with a coaching staff that’s half the size of your opponent.
