Absolutely a shame... It was a sea of red in BDS... No more flex packs DRAD EVER!!! There is no reason Ugay should have that many fans there. NONE

To all the Tech fans who sold their tickets to tonight's game to Ugay fans to make a quick buck, shame on you! I hope I never EVER have the displeasure of meeting such disgraces such as yourselves who call yourselves fans.

Absolutely pathetic. That combined with the inability to develop a QB, catch a pass and fans who put up with this crap have made me feel just plain sick.

It's the whole attitude of our fans. The losing... Everything.

The sea of RED in our stadium did it though. That's just plain wrong.

I was appalled. I couldn't believe my eyes...a sea of red along with some empty seats. I guess that speaks volumes about us, but I just don't want to listen.

I actually think that compared to 05 and 03, there was a lot less red this year. Maybe it was just me. Or the stench.

Who knows anymore? What time is it?

It looked like a game from the early 80s when the entire south horseshoe was red, along with most of the north and most of the upper west. It was easily 65/35 UGA if not more.

You have it backwards. The lack of a QB, catching a pass etc., or play good football is the reason you see a sea of red. Play good exciting football and you'll fill the stadium. I am glad I was there for our last 3 wins, I feel bad for these students. It's embarrassing.

Have you guys ever been to BDS during a ga game? It is always like this. An outsider coming in would think it was a ga home game. Our colors don't stand out, theirs do. Again, marketing has to do something about this. Everything sold needs to be gold. No blue, black, or whatever else they try to push. One color of gold, too. Not mustard, goldenrod, yellow, light yellow, etc. etc.

There is no unity in our apparel. Additionally, there are not enough Tech fans filling the stinkin seats.

BAAAHHH!

It's called "fair weather fan syndrome" and it is a potentially fatal disease, as we have seen.

It was/is pathetic. I certainly understand the uga fans wanting to support their team, but how many season ticket holders sold their tickets? Pathetic.

Also, if what my daughter told me is correct, the number of student tickets was slashed. The UE where the GT students have ALWAYS sat was a sea of red and black. Criminally Pathetic!

It reminds me of seeing "Planet of the Apes" for the first time as an adult. Just freaking wrong!!

I would still say it was a majority Tech fans, maybe around 60/40. Remember, the UGA fans uniformly wore red while we wore a combination of gold and blue.

It was about the same or maybe a bit worse than 2005 and much better than 2003.

I don't like it either, but we shouldn't blame DRad for using the flex packs. Even some season ticket holders will turn around and sell single game tickets on ebay. At least with flex packs, we get more money off of UGA fans.

Of course it is. Since we're throwing out percentages here, I would say that UGA fans break down like this

True fans that understand X and O - 40%
Fans because its cool - 60%

I dont own a gold shirt. Problem? Of course. LOTS of GT stuff that I see for sale is BLUE. Wanna fix that problem? Sell more gold stuff.

I wish people would quit fighting this. The reason folks wear navy is because gold looks great when applied in a metallic paint, but like horsesh$t on a sweatshirt.

Maybe next year we can buy and wear helmets to the games if we want to look good in gold.

I want white shirts and gold britches at home and a new football coach.

I have a gold shirt that I always wear to games just so I make sure I wear gold. But I understand the people that don't buy alot of gold shirts because they make alot of cool looking blue shirts and some white ones. Most of the gold ones I see don't say or show anything that alot of fans look at and say they want to parade around in.

I wear gold regardless of design just for the point of wearing my team's color to show support and help with the concept of furthering our team spirit - but I know and understand why not everyone else is that way.

Comes down to attractiveness and availability. Not all Tech fans shop at the book store. They go to The Sports Authority where grey shirts with the season's schedule and bold "PROPERTY OF" logos are your options.

You can go in almost any store that sells apparel of any sort and find a red UGAg shirt. I know of three sports specialty stores in my area that don't sell a single gold (or yellow) piece of Georgia Tech clothing.

I don't know who is to blame, that's just the observation from a guy who has lived right off of I-20 west, about an hour and a half from Alabama where Georgia fans are as easy to find as empty cases of Natty Light on the side of the intersate.

It's the same in Carrollton. Kohl's in Douglasville is the closest place to find a solid collection of Tech stuff (their store mgr is a GT grad). Of course, the Wal-Marts and truck stops have butt-loads of UGAg merchandise.

why were you watching on TV?

You should have been there. A UGA fans was sitting in your seat.

Our Athletic Dept set up the plan to sell the packages that allowed Ugag fans to load up on tickets well beyond the 10,000 normally allotted. If we want to get mad at anyone, the blame should start with us.
Ugag has the fans; we have the empty seats. Tonight you saw the results--again.

I was at the game and it wasn't even 50/50. The uga colors stand out on tv. There were a lot of uga fans there, a hell of a lot more than I would of like but there were clearly more gt fans.

Thank You! some else actually gets it. 'Gold' looks like crap when worn by normal people as clothes, unless maybe you are a pimp:)
