WTF with the red in BDS????

Re: Some of you are plain old fashion dumb

YodaBee - in addition to all of that, I personally know a Tech fan that bought up 30-50 3-game packages only to turn them on Ebay.

The only way we're going to keep the red out is to sell out the season ticket packages to TECH FUND contributors. And we're a long way from that. Until that happens, we're going to have to be happy with UGA fans' revenue helping us build to that point.

Right now, we are forcing ugaggers to buy tickets to games that they probably don't even want in order to buy a ticket to the GT game via the flex packs.

The only logical next step is to force them to buy season tickets and pay the PSL in order to get UGA tickets.

The fact of the matter is that there are not enough GT people in our state to fill the stadium and the people that don't have an attachment either don't care about college football or root for the team that wins the most.

That --and by beating them. GT has to beat UGA a few times at home and I'm pretty sure that would keep at least some of the red out @BDS.

If we improve our football product, we should be able to sell our small stadium to our own people.

GENIUS! Win more games!

Gosh, I wish Chan had thought of that. Maybe you should email your suggestion to Dan. I'm sure he'll get right on it.
Irrespective of that, the mutts loaded up on GT/GA tickets because of the flex packs, which is the only point I've ever tried to make.

They loaded up on GT/GA tickets because the tickets were sold to the public. Answer my question or go away:

Your only solution is "don't sell tickets to UGA fans." Great. How? Stop selling to the public? Answer that question.

Your question, like the others, is irrelevant to the point. My response to this diatribe has simply been that the flex packs have allowed more than normal red in our stadium. You can throw out all the trivial questions you'd like, but the fact remains that allowing GA fans to buy more tickets is why there was so much red in BDS. You can conjure up whatever solution to our predicament as you'd like, but to deny that allowing GA fans to buy more tickets as helping load up our stadium with mutts, as you initially did, is laughable.
If there's a question to be asked, it's would you rather have a partially sold out stadium with mostly Tech fans or would you prefer to sell it out and complain about all the red. This discussion would be irrelevant to the point, but would at least be worthy of discussion, rather than for you argue against the obvious.

Manjano--you are correct. But then if someone said that allowing the public to view the game between GT-UGA lets more red than normal into our stadium. You could also say that staging the game in Georgia allows more red into the stadium and be correct. If we eliminated flex packs completely and sold tickets like every other game, that would also let even more red than normal into the stadium. Like you said,

You can conjure up whatever solution to our predicament as you'd like, but to deny that allowing GA fans to buy more tickets as helping load up our stadium with mutts, as you initially did, is laughable.

Everyone else's point isn't that UGA fans aren't buying tickets to the game, it's that the flex packs don't enable them to buy more tickets than the alternative of using the same ticket sales structure as every other game of the season. So while you are correct...there is really no point to what you say.

Mangina, you are indeed correct that selling tickets to the public allows UGA people to attend. Your powers of observation are amazing. You win.
