Are we really at the point where our fans are arguing about which really good season was more pathetic?

We have jumped the sea bass.
Are we really still at the point, 3 years into a coaching change, where you continue to gripe about prior staffs? Yup. And that will continue until the next staff arrives. Collins is a clown and you dumb.

If we had this momentum going into 2015, explain why it didn't move the meter with Recruiting and why it didn't move the meter with Ticket Sales for 2015.

The local Sports Media barely mentioned GT FB, in 2014 and 2015.

You guys and your revisionist history is amusing, you make it seem like GT FB was must see TV, we played more noon Games than FCS Programs, our Recruiting was pedestrian at best.

An OB with an ACC Runner up and an SEC also ran that didn't make their Conf CG was one of the lowest rated NY6 Bowls since the CFP Era begin.

I prefer to focus on 2021 & beyond, but I do like an accurate telling of what happened in the past.
Yeah I'm calling BS. You clearly have not wanted to focus on what has transpired during Collins regime. Not two years ago, not last year, and now not this year. I understand why it's difficult for you to focus on the present and near future though. The results under Collins are pretty painful and scapegoats are very attractive when you are emotionally attached to a staff.

We have gone over this ad nauseum.

We had THE öööötiest roster in P5 football in 2019. That is an absolute fact. Especially transitioning to a passing style offense.

We have exactly 2 full classes of Collins recruits. Do you think that Gibbs and Sims may improve a bit? Our WR's? Our DL? Do you think any of our incoming recruits will add needed depth to our program?

I'm certain a genius like you could take a group of freshmen and sophomores and go out and win the ACC. I'm certain YOU are certain of it. Somehow, you are the greatest armchair AD in school history and are totally willing to overlook any evidence of improvement in our team and nuclear option our program.

Yea, you seem pretty emotional

any evidence of improvement in our team
Here's your chance. Simply tell us where we have improved in year three from years 1 and 2. While still young, there should be some progression, no? And at his point, we're at the end, or near the end of the season, so there's another year behind us. No bull, just straight football talk. Where does JJ see improvement.? And don't just mention recruiting. I think we all see better athletes on the field. I'm talking football.

No. I don’t gripe about them. Just like this staff they had good points and bad. Now go get a tampon.

Good. Now we're getting somewhere. I'm actually surprised though you used 2019 vs 2021. Different QBs. Sims from 2020 to 2021 has shown some improvement, going from 54.9% to 61.3% and a whopping 7.3yds per to 7,8 yds per. But are those really the improvement one SHOULD expect from frosh to soph years? To me, no; especially with the pedigree that he came into the league with. Understand, I"M NOT bashing Sims - just pointing out last year and this year are not that much different. To me that's more coaching than player. The fact that when he misses, he MISSES is something that can and should be worked on in practice. If a coach doesn't see improvement, then it's time for a change; albeit short term can work too, so I'm not suggesting Sims be benched for ever. JJ, this is what is frustrating to me, and I would suggest most on this board. We are not seeing the progression we should be seeing, even if the majority of the players are still young. It falls squarely on coaching and all we are hearing is the same BS. So improvement in the QB, but only by the slightest of margins. What else you got because I can sure crank out where we've regressed.

If you check 247 for 2019, you'll see we had 45th rated talent.
which leaves 85 other teams lower,
"transitioning to passing" is a valid point but hard to quantify.
What's the excuse for the defense?

Sims has been keeping his head up and downfield more this season.. He is scanning the field better. He is staying in the pocket. His instinct last season was to pull the ball and run. His bootleg passes look better. He has two 300+ yard passing games this season vs none last season. His top 3 passing games are from 2021.

So 45th is talent level in all of CFB is good? How many P5 teams were ahead of us? I stand by we had the worst P5 roster in college football. Not only that, we had no semblance of a QB capable of passing a football accurately. 45.1% in 2019, 61% 2021
