Players don't care....

if our defense quit against uga then just about everyone else on their schedule quit too because they've gone up and down the field all year. Our offense underachieved against them, can buy that they didn't give their best effort, our D was about as effective as the rest of their schedule not including Florida and USC.

I've heard whispers that before the game Tevin said Georgia was a "good team" and that it was going to be a "tough game." Ridiculous.

ive never seen us deflate like that against uga though, except maybe 2002. and you could really see the disgust with the players, but not this year.

Are you saying there was a positive in the 2002 UGAg game that we were missing this year? I just want to make sure I'm reading this right.

"It's just a game, dawg" is still a quote that makes me want to spit every time I think about it. The reality comes down to this: uga is far more talented than us right now up and down the roster. It's sickening, but the truth. There are those here who believe that CPJ will never be able to do anything to change this. I have some hope (naive or not) that things will get better just by looking at some of the guys we're bringing in, or are young and developing.

Yea, wonder what this has in common with the 2002 game?

Maybe these are the best 2 uga teams in the past 30 years? Think that might have something to do with it?

^^^ this. Easily their best team in a decade, if not longer. Aaron Murray also just tied Peyton Manning for 2nd place all time SEC TD passes. There's that too. Peyton is just a mediocre pro.

What was the other quote/tweet from a few years ago?

Something along the lines of "ya'll think it was bad this year, it's gon' be a jailbreak to get outta there next year." ?

youre missing the point. i think everyone saw this loss coming a mile away, but i want the players to have at least some confidence before the game that they could pull off a big one or make it close. instead of "well lets go get slaughtered and then hit the bars".

I have no way of knowing if the players care or not. I have got to believe a majority do (they put too much into making the team).

I sense a lack of leadership, from players to coaches. Heck, just a few short weeks ago some ugag player was critical of some teammates and many reamed his butt. But the fact is they now have a chance to play for a MNC.

IF the players don't care as they should, then I am not certain they aren't following CPJs lead. The team goals had beating ugag as # 3, when it is the most important thing on the field.

I don't know how CPJs contract is written, but there needs to be MAJOR adjustments.

I get that Georgia is good. But ...
They got dat a$$ beat by a lot by Steve Superior. They didn't exactly put the hammer down on Buffalo or Kentucky, who stink. They dodged a huge bullet with Florida late, thanks to Jordan Reed deciding to go airborne. They managed to avoid LSU and Alabama this year, and Auburn made us look like the 49ers. Aside from Florida, they didn't beat anybody they weren't supposed to. They were supposed to beat us, and they did. We were supposed to at least show up, and we didn't.
We should have beaten Va Thug and The T (not U. T. As in Turd) but commenced to urinate down our leg, then went and took the day off against MTSU (team in Tennessee with the best record? That would be the Blue Raiders from Murfreesboro, 8-3.) BYU is 7-5 and played Notre Dame to the 3,600th second.
A team that got beat by 28 points being in the national championship game? Perish the thought. But they won't beat Bama and they wouldn't beat ND. Yeah, I'm rambling, but that's just because I'm still hacked off about the lack of effort Saturday against Georgia. And I will be until we beat Florida State. Even then, I'll still be pissed but by a degree or two less.

The thing that pisses me off about the PJ haters is they pretend he said stuff he didn't say, and then levy accusations based on those false quotes.

Yup. And here is a good example

Furthermore, paul believes his talent is adequate enough despite everything to the contrary.

Think about that.

I've heard him say that our talent is improved on offense only. That we have many more backs that can run the offense than when he first started here and there was no depth at A-back and B-back.

The defense is a whole different story. When did he say our talent on the DL is adequate? I've heard the opposite. I specifically remember when D. Morgan's name was brought up and he off topic blurted out "Boy could we use him right now!" He was saying we don't have any talent on the DL. Even in the last call-in show he said that the redshirt freshman are as good or better than they guys playing now.

Can you back up your statement? Otherwise you look like you're just a angry rambling fan who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Wait bad losses and QUITTING on field are two different things

Paul had a team quit year 5 vs UGA, BYU and MTSU. I am not defending chan. Don't turn it into that. The point is Pauls's teams are quitting on him as bad as chans'

But since you brought it up, Pauls bad losses Rival chan's

MTSU maybe the worse loss in the history of tech football
LSU
UGA
Air Force
BYU
Kansas
anyone remember beating a fcs school 7-3 or something.

Well, we can have a differing opinion on the number of times the teams have "quit" on the coaches. I get your point.

And, the FCS was running the option with Calvin Booker. It was Gardner-Webb.

I get your point, and we might of quit. We also might of gotten dominated by a much better team is my point. Same could be said of 2002.

The chemistry on this team is very much so out of wack.

Since we've heard this more than one season now, do you care to speculate as to why this is? You mentioned not recruiting guys who are tough football players. You feel this is the cause?
