Deadspin Says Manti Te'o's Girlfriend Was a Hoax

If he claims he's gay, he should be forced to kiss a dude on national TV.

Didn't say I would watch. I just don't want him to play the gay card and get away with his lies.
 
So does Notre Dame get clobbered by the NCAA for lack of institutional oversight in letting a Mormon Gay student athlete have a fictitious girlfriend who was a man and covering up a scandal to benefit a player?

I hope so.
 
What's particularly funny is the mods posts on the ND forum. His name is irisheyes. He goes from adamantly supporting Teo threatening banning people and calling out Deadspin, to reluctantly believing tat Teo was the Victim in an elaborate hoax, to accepting the painful and embarrassing truth in one thread. Awesome!

Yea i've been arguing with him over there. He offered me (and thought it was funny)a seashore house in Arizona. What a tool. Obvious butthurt is obvious:rotfl:
 
Still think Teo's fake girlfriend is more believable than him only missing 2 tackles all year.
 
Saw a story on ESPN earlier but haven't watched since then. Is EVERYBODY on ESPN believing that he's a victim still?

It didn't seem like they were believing he was a victim as much as reporting what ND and him have stated. Also, don't think anyone coming onto sportscenter is going to straight up call him a liar.

No, they are just reporting as is. There has been a statement by ND, statement by Te'o etc... ESPN.com did mention Tuiasosopo and deadspin so it doesn't seem like ESPN is shying away to much. Watching now and it looks like they will show the news conference at 8. Why would ND schedule a press conference? IDK but this could be of epic fail proportions
