Spring game.

Remember guys, last time we had a bunch of fumbles in the spring game we beat Georgia that season (with a first year QB too).
 
Get used to Byerly at QB. JT is too fragile for this sport. He's going to be out with injuries a lot.
 
If our blocking stays where it is, Byerly will be our starter. He seems to take contact better.

I was at the game. I know there were a lot of fumbles, but I was encouraged by our play. The white team ran no huddle, hurry up a bunch. The gold team just couldn't bring it together. There were a few good passes out of Byerly. One real pretty one on the right side that should have been caught that was placed almost perfectly. A backs looked pretty good. Zenon seemed to do well as did Bostic. Smelter is still the man at WR, apparently.

Our corners played man and got right up on the LOS against the receivers most of the time. We should be solid on defense this year - if we get some good DT play, which I think we will.

Devine is huge. Too huge. I think 370 listed. He seemed a step slow at times. Might benefit from losing 20 or so lbs. He might be a monster at 340.

I don't remember any pistol. Maybe the rain. Maybe I missed it. Maybe we have dropped it.
 
I have been and still am under the opinion that if Byerly is the starter then the bowl streak is over. I just don't think he's got it.

Well, you'd be wrong if the streak ends and you blame it on Byerly. He runs tough and threw some good looking passes tonight. He also operated effectively out of the no huddle. It was a messy night, but when we have our best 11 out there on offense, sub the A backs as normal and throw in the hurry up/no huddle every so often, I think we will be pretty formidable. We may even have some dominant games if the defense can generate a few 3 and outs from our opponent and we can wear their asses out.
 
So JT is for sure the starter then. Cant wait to see him play.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the thread, since I haven't read it all, but you don't need cable to access ESPN3. You only need cable to access the other ESPN channels online.

Yeah but your ISP has to offer it.

For example I had Windstream and when ESPN360 (ESPN3) came out I was able to watch streams but now Windstream doesn't offer ESPN3.
Of course most people have att uverse or Comcast so there shouldn't be a problem with getting ESPN3.

We are looking at starting our 3rd string quarterback from last year, lost our two (hands down) best defensive players, and start probably the worst right tackle in college football. The weather isn't everything that hurt attendance. The fact that we are going to suck balls this year also had something to do with it.

Looking to start our third string QB from last year? LOL The only people talking about that are on the message boards. JT will start. Chamberlain is not even close to the worst T in college football, would love to see your bitch ass say that to his face though. You are a piece of öööö whiner. I thank the Lawd that I don't know you. We had Tevin for 3 years and still made a bowl. 'Nuff said.

You can insert someone completely unathletic into QB in our offense. As long as he knows how to make option reads, he'll scrape by.
