Please explain why they shouldn't taking Jerry at 37?

Maybe because he's not that high on their board?? He was a great player for us, but that doesn't mean the local team should take him just because he's there. Who had him listed as among the best available when the Falcons picked? Why take a player at 37 that you could trade down to get later if that's who you really want?

But maybe we should all be calling up Dmitroff and demanding to know why he didn't warrant the #37 pick when all of stingtalk seems to think he was worth it. Or we could call up all the next 12 GMs and ask them the same thing.

Who: Todd McShay
Why: Because he is an ideal fit for your scheme and fills a need at pass rusher. Also, out of those 12 GMs, only 3 had a need at DE/OLB and 2 picked up pass rushers.

I could care less if he played at Tech or for the Falcons (Go Panthers), but to draft a DT who doesn't look versatile enough to be a 5 tech, invest in a pick that you revamped in the offseason, and to pass on 3 true pass rushers seems silly to me, but hey what do I know

Correct. You and I are not NFL GMs, much less ones that've helped a struggling franchise achieve the best run in its history.

Like I said earlier, I'm not thrilled with the pick. I'd have rather taken Van Noy or Tuitt, or traded down a little to get Attaochu.

JA went in the second round and is our highest selected in years and you guys are complaining??

it surprises me that the Steelers went for Tuitt. It seems to me that they might have learned their lesson with big softies after their experience with JDwyer, now they draft a guy that needs his mom to wipe his tears?

Bitch, Please!

Tampa Bay is gonna be sick after getting Mike Evans and bringing Josh McCown over
