Did they not learn anything in the aj green debacle? No sympathy. Your autograph will be just as valuable when you graduate. Jesus christ

I was worried about this too, but if there's videos of him signing for more than $2000, it's a big deal and they might be better off shutting him down. Gurley certainly has no reason to suit back up. He won't win the Heisman now, UGA will likely be out of the playoff picture.Dude, everyone on Stingtalk knew this was coming. Reddit knew it was coming. That it comes now just means UGA is going to have a ööööty record going into late November when they reactivate Gurley and rush for 300 vs us.
Sure would have been nice for it to hit around November 10th.
Auburn fans will outbid us, and probably already have copies.Oooohhh...
I'm reading now that the videotape is being auctioned.
Well I do have hope then. Hopefully the auctioner sells several copies, and a GT fan gets one of them, and it's released the week of Thansgiving after he already served his 1 game suspension for $399 worth of autographs.
That could maybe work.

So if they vacate wins it would end their bowl streak so we wouldn't be tied with them anymore. Excellent.
I think the streak would still be alive. Vacating wins doesn't necessarily vacate the appearance. Even though we vacated the 2009 ACC Championship, we still get credit for an appearance
If they vacate wins they won't be eligible for a bowl game.

Depends how many they vacate. If they cough up one, they'll still be eligible. Only takes 6 wins over FBS opponents.
How many wins they vacate will depend on how far back the school knew about the problem and still played Gurley.
Is vacating wins connected to the school's knowledge of the ineligibility? Or just to the fact of the ineligibility?
If he is found to have received improper benefits, they will have to vacate every win he played in after receiving the benefit. So that's every win this year.
Respectfully, I don't think that's correct. The player gets punished for the benefits, but I think the vacating of wins is tied to how long the institution knew about the benefits before notifying the NCAA and suspending him.
