Patenaude to be OC

What’s Sewak’s role in the new offensive scheme?

He changing his name to:
Patenaude

We went from having co-OL coaches to co-OC so it is a step up for him.

Whereas Sewak had nude pictures, Dave P. was able to get video.

By giving him an assistant HC title. Probably a similar setup to what he had at UCF. With the understanding that when Paterdude moves on, Key will be first in line to be considered.

Patterdude is only 50, he ain't going no where in the near term.

Gonna have to watch some temple games. He had some good numbers with other teams but this hire doesn’t really matter because the focus under Collins will be defense, intensity, and recruiting. I feel that we are going to be emulating Beamer’s route to success in some ways and that’s probably the easier way to do it at a school like GT. I am excited to have a hard hitting defense.

Rhymes with ewok will be hanging out in the Carolina mountains with his former boss and neighbor, enjoying NOT having to do their least favorite thing: sucking up to teenagers and their handlers and trying to convince them to come play on their team.

I am actually ok with this hire. He didn't do anything to give me a warm fuzzy in the bowl game; but the short passing game he ran to get guys into space should work well with our A-back laden personnel. I still think we can get 6-8 wins if one of our dual threat QBs steps up. I think we do pretty well in this type offense short term, even better if Benson or a bigger RB steps up.

Temple allegedly had a top 10 pass defense going into the bowl; but Duke shredded it, hung it out to dry, and then rolled it into doobies and smoked it for 440 yards. Hopefully would have been different if Collins had been there. Do we know who the DC will be?

And Mississippi State had a great defense before we played them in the Orange Bowl. When these types of coaches leave it takes its toll on the locker room because they make great emotional connections. They

The Foley guy seems like the personification of Mike Tyson's statement: "Everybody's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

Maybe co hc....

So how does this work as far as game day play calling, I am honestly curious. Would Brent Key be calling all the offensive plays because he is co-HC, or would Petenaude call the passing plays and Key the running plays? Since you often call one play to set up another play, I would think it would better if you had one guy calling most of the plays, the exception being HC input on key 3rd down or 4th down plays.

Patenaude would call plays.
