People from Atlanta
Yup. Pretty sure people were chanting it during Hawks games when they went to the Finals years ago.

Maybe it's just do to the distance I am from atl, but the chant always seemed to be bigger than one team.

If the head "branding agent" is wearing it on the front of his cap in front of the media, then a chant sounds right to me. To me it is our signature on the ATL being our territory, our city, which is what CGC wants if I heard him right. The 404 is the Capital and heart of CFB in the USA and we're at ground zero of that capital. I want to go with CGC. "He da man".

ATL cheer is the kind of cheer that would help us with local recruits on official and unofficial visits.

It would also help with getting casual fans who might not be gt partisans cheering. Yeah the vast majority of fans are gt fans, but we get some lookie loos that come to games. They might not get into a yellow jacket chant, but how can they not jump on an atl chant?

404 seems more "insider" to me vs ATL so I like ATL better. Both do tie the city to us and vice versa but atl does it better for most and is more inclusive. I would totally use both but atl would be the primary.

I do have an idea i should probably run by morpheus. I always thought the 4 fingers every team holds up is stupid. Everybody does it. We know the quarter. But a twist on it where you hold up both hands with 4 fingers, for the 4th and the 404, that is a fresh twist. The 4 belongs to the 404. And that is when we shoukd do the 404 chant. Right after budweiser, and maybe before too. Hold up both hands with four fingers and do a 404 chant. Would help drown out any visiting bands too. And if any doofus visitors try their one hand four finger öööö it will look like they are joining in. Or that they are nazi. One hand raised fingers out thumb tucked always looked a little nazi.

This fan base can't pull off a simple white out and you want a new chant...pfft.
The fact that nobody has a white winter coat is unrelated to our ability to cheer.

That nobody has a white winter coat clearly is incomprehendable to the AA. Newsflash, we dont have gt gold winter coats either. And bullshit layer suggestions means we wear three sweatshirts making the white shirt/sweatshirt on the outside tight as öööö and everyone uncomfortable as hell and looking ridiculous.

If you want everyone to wear the same color it has to be sweatshirt weather or warmer, or, you can do a blackout. Most everyone has a black or dark coat.

And yet, Penn State manages to fill a stadium full of white coats when it is cold. In fact, our last white out, I saw a guy wearing a pretty sweet white down coat with "Penn State" on it

Because when you live in State College Pennsylvania you have 10 winter coats. You wear them every day for half a year. It is not a big deal to buy a white one special for the white out game. You will have plenty of chances to wear it.

In Atlanta most people have one (maybe two) big winter coats. It is a totally different reality.

people up there are all really fat so they don't care about looking a little bit fatter wearing a staypuff marshmallow coat.

I bet if CGC did an all-out media blitz to tell our fans to buy a goddamn white coat and to wear white there would be a pretty strong effect. The last staff wasn't exactly rah rah about these things.

It would be cool if the chant was "Foh Oh Foh!"
A 4-0-4 version of Moses Malone's 1983 NBA Playoffs prediction t-shirt...

(Before the start of the 1983 NBA playoffs, Moses Malone was asked his prediction for the upcoming playoffs. He answered fo' fo' fo' - meaning the Sixers would sweep each round of the playoffs. It turned out be fo' fi' fo', as the Sixers needed 5 games to dispense of the Milwaukee Bucks in the conference finals.)
