So he was fired apparently for cause. Nobody knows the cause. They won't tell you the cause, but it was apparently serious enough to can him.
 
Didn't anyone think it was just a matter of time before Propst's act wore thin in Moultrie like he got shown the door at Hoover? Don't you wonder where he'll surface next? As an off-field analyst in T-Town?

My bro in law coaches high school football in Georgia. Word on the street is Propst was supplying PEDs and prescription pain killers to the team.
 
He head butted a player and somehow that didn't get him fired?!
They spend $100,000 on nutrition out of their budged?!? I would not be surprised if it was PED and Pain Killers.
 
Yeah... I live right up the road from Colquitt. Doping and paying players was indeed an issue. Also, he was assisting financially to relocate players and families to their district, though that probably happens in more places than just Colquitt.
 
The dude doesn't exactly have a clean track record. Not really surprised by this. Colquitt was not very good before he got there, and HS coaches only have so much room for improvement without cheating.

Jim Leavitt survived head butting players. But they drew the line when he started choking them.
 
Its one thing to get a bunch of teenage Al Bundys in Colquitt to juice up, but it is surprising that he could get the kids at Hoover to do that. Thats the Roswell/Alpharetta area of Birmingham.
