This thread has some good potential.

No school should go after a 1st year coach. That's stupid. CPJ still hasn't proven he can win the ACC let alone the SEC East. Besides, why would CPJ leave after just one year? Sure the money is good, but who wants to start over every year with new players and new assistants at a new school installing a new system. Not ganna happen.

If Fulmer is out, (which I kinda hope he is because the more teams that win the SEC east not named uga makes me happier) then they won't go with a spread option offense. Especially after just hiring a spread offensive coordinator that has obviously had some growing pains this year. Look for Tenn to throw their name into the hat for Holtz, I would have said Cut if he was still the OC. Turner Gil could be another on that list, as well as Petrino (because his resume is sent to every school hiring that year). I don't think he would leave but Jim Leavit (sp?) at South Florida might be a good idea for Tenn. Grobe's name is always thrown around.

I have to agree that this thread was crass, but Kyle's strange hatred toward the OP is funny to me. Its not like every other poster on this board hasn't made blatent insults to Kyle, but for some reason Kyle has a vendetta against this guy.

TN is more likely to go after Cutcliffe IMO. The TO is still too weird for a "national power" like TN to hitch their wagon to.
 
A blind man could see the difference in character between Paul Johnson and people like Nick Saban and Bobby Petrino. He isn't going anywhere till he wins a national championship here.
 
I want to know where the OP heard this because I went to the TN board on scout and found nothing, mention of Holtz, but thats about it.
 
2008 starts the new Dodd (Johnson) ERA here on the flats. I think its funny Tenn fans think that just because they are from the SEC, they can buy any coach they want.

As for BOR, Barrel of Rain, words like douche bag & pussy don't command any respect from me. Don't start nothing wont be nothing !!!!
 
Fulmer's contract is huge, they just renewed it last year. He's not going anywhere!

I heard that the falcons were going to scrap Matt Ryan, bring Vick out of The Jail Football League (the JFL as seen on ESPN 8 'the ocho'), and bring the triple option to the NFL. Its a perfect plan really. Also, they plan on a slew of new hires in new coaching positions. This is all just rumor, but this is what I have heard through the grape vine:

They are replacing the O Line coach with the Buffet Line coach who is rumored to be Charlie Wies.

They are replacing the D Line coach with the Vegas Line coach who is rumored to be Rick Neuheisel.

They are replacing the General Manager with the General Lee. Apparently they plan on drafting vehicles in the future.
