So I'm roughly 6000th on AT priority. By the math here looks like tix could be gone by 2500 to 3000th.11k capacity? Damn. Gonna be a lot of unhappy ST holders
Interesting. I'm mid-afternoon on 9/2. roughly 6000th in AT.I'm around 3500 on AT priority, and my time ticket for seat selection is in the morning of 9/1. Hopefully they've distributed all of the folks who said they want tickets evenly through the 8/26 to 9/9 selection window, in which case being toward the middle of the overall window makes me somewhat optimistic.
I imagine that a) a lot of season ticket holders opted out (we only sell like 25K season tickets anyway, right?), b) they factored in the number of people who opted in when they were setting the capacity, and c) some of the highest AT donors are probably older/more likely to opt out. On the downside, I would guess that some of the highest AT donors also have bigger blocks of tickets than my pair. It's going to be interesting to see how things go.
I thought it was interesting that they're going ahead with beer sales (maybe not altogether conducive to rule-following and making good decisions, but it is a way to make some extra money). Also thought it was interesting that they're allocating 400 seats to visitors. I'll be kind of pissed if I miss getting in, and yet there are some Duke fans or whatever in the stands. I also wonder which other ACC schools will follow suit and what the process might be for getting those tix. I hate to miss games, but it's going to be tough to avoid this fall.

Interesting. I'm mid-afternoon on 9/2. roughly 6000th in AT.
That's not how it works. No matter your AT points, if you only had 2 seats, you can only get 2 seats. You can only get 8 if you previously had 8.I've opted in and have a time slot but based on what I just read, doubt I get in. Allowing each season tix holder to buy up to 8 tickets. I get that, it's fine. HDTV at home will work!
ah. ok. i actually normally have 4 but opted for 2. ill bounce back to 4 in 2021.That's not how it works. No matter your AT points, if you only had 2 seats, you can only get 2 seats. You can only get 8 if you previously had 8.
For giggles (because I'm bored and already had Excel open), I assumed that time slots run from 9 to 5 every day from 8/26 to 9/9 (with a 3p cutoff on 9/9). So the x-axis is cumulative hours since the start of the time slots (8/26 @ 9a) to the end of the time slots (9/9 @ 3p), which is 133 "distribution hours" in total, and the y-axis is AT priority number. I plotted the three points I know about (best guess as to times) and did a linear curve fit.

Can you add 7-day average?
I thought about it, but we need a few more data points for it to make sense.

Would piss off a lot more season ticket holders to not let any in simply because guys at the bottom of the list aren't allowed in.Gonna have to work their asses off not to lose fans from this. Building a season ticket base is difficult enough. Once some fans just figure they are out, they may stay out.
