Ehh. I wouldn't say "rolled" FSU. Sure the score was lopsided, but Pitt was given excellent field position all game. Here are there scoring drives:
7 plays 49 yards - FG
4 plays 32 yards - TD
4 plays 41 yards - TD
3 plays 47 yards - TD
2 plays 20 yards - TD
13 plays 78 yards - FG
The other TD came on a pick 6 (50yd). Two very short fields led to TD's after turnovers. So they got the ball in plus territory every scoring drive except one. When they had to drive 70+ yards, they had 5 punts and one FG. That lone FG on a long drive was the first possession of the game aided by a 50 yd reception. Other than that, they were not able to sustain drives. Not saying our defense will be better than FSU's, but if we limit turnovers, I like our chances making Pitt have to drive the field. We had almost 100 more yards of offense against FSU, so they didn't exactly torch the FSU defense, they just scored a lot of points off short fields. FSU actually had more 1st downs and TOP than Pitt, just had 3 costly turnovers.
