Program Resets: 2020 Edition

If agents are any good, there is going to be a lot of stuff done before year end to try and avoid any tax law changes on high salaries that may be coming, including buyouts.

Their third straight straight loss, eh? I guess they want more gay losses?

Norvell has a lot to fix in Tallahassee
Jimbo lit a match
Willie squirted lighter fluid on it

He had Wilson to start but Kaindoh got hurt
Kaindoh has been back but Wilson is done for the year. And now Terry has packed it in. That’s 3 likely first round guys

I’ve never been a Franklin fan but he’s safe - for now
Harbaugh might want to get a good real estate agent.
Frost helped himself yesterday. But that seat is warm

I wonder if Babers survives at the Cuse
And I wonder about Cut’s tenure at Duke
After yesterday’s implosion, I wonder about Fuente at VPI

In his 6 previous years at PSU, he’s won 11 games 3 times along with a pair of NYE6 wins.

Please do that, CGC.
Penn State has a rabid fan base that, were it not for Covid, packs 110k in every home game. Penn State fans, when told a game is a white out, actually participate and dress accordingly. Recruiting at Penn State is easy. GT needs to get there. There is nothing here that shows that Franklin could show up at GT and be successful. I don't get the adoration of a coach who has managed to öööö up a gravy job like Penn State.

He's averaged a full game more per year in the win column compared to the previous 6 years at PSU and tripled the amount of NYE6 bowls (along with those 2 wins). That's 3 NYE6 bowls and a Citrus in 4 of his 6 years.

You're insane if you don't find that trajectory and actual results impressive, even for a school like PSU.

Franklin was a recruiter type, not a very good coach. Collins coached defense well.

You know... except he was successful at Vandy too

Stop being a tard.
Seriously, the dude won 8 per year at Vandy with a pair of 9 win seasons. In his 10 year career, he's averaging 8 wins.

Hating on James Franklin makes you look like a clown.

Basically the entire VPI fanbase wants Fuente gone but he’s owed 12.5 M buyout (goes down 20% each year). The funny thing is that they want him gone because in their head losing to Duke/WF is a “fireable offense” for a program of their level. And not because he’s signing two consecutive horrible classes and their impending nosedive starting in 2022 is now unavoidable regardless of whether they fire him or not.

They’re legit gonna have sub-Duke level talent in a few years. Not even making Top 10s of the top guys in VA.

I think they end up pulling the trigger before the start of 2021. Not sure who they could find to take the job on a COVID + buyout budget tho with that FR/SO roster.
